EelvarnExcellent apartment right in the center of Antwerp. It's a bit awkward with heavy suitcases because the stairs to get in are steep. Otherwise, everything is superb: comfortable, warm, and stylish.

RRen.nyaOverall, it was a very good hotel. What I liked the most was that the room was very spacious. The kitchen was also very functional and had all the necessary dishes. I think it is suitable for long-term stays. Additionally, it was within walking distance of the station and very close. The staff were friendly and nice as well.

The most important thing is that there is a Christmas market and an ice skating rink downstairs, which the children love very much. The taste and service of the restaurant in the market are very good. The Christmas atmosphere is very good. The hotel is next to the Carrefour supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing snacks and fruits. It is just that you need to take a detour to get a taxi to Antwerp Central Station. If you don't need to take a taxi with your children, there are actually buses and subways downstairs, which is very convenient. You must stay here again when you come to Antwerp

CChristianThe hotel is in an excellent location if you are working at the conference centre a Room with a Zoo, you have to walk one minute across the square.
I ate twice in the restaurant, both times the food was mediocre (too much tomato sauce on pizza, very strange and poorly made carbonara with pasta that was dry due to being put under the grill). The breakfast was also extremely basic for 20 euros a day, one day the baked beans were empty the whole time I was there, several days most of the cherry tomatoes were wrinkled. The juices were nice and the bread was fresh.
Overall, the staff seemed slightly poorly coordinated in ensuring someone was available at the bar and reception. The bar was frequently unmanned, and the reception was as well, it seemed like sometimes bar staff were spending time with friends.
In addition, the bathroom in my room smelt, from the day of arrival.
Overall the location is good and it seemed relatively clean, but the rooms are small, I would not eat here, but the bar is suitable for a drink.

I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same.
Central located, check-in procedure was easy.
Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :)
Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon.
Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud.
Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.

TTopperUKThe hotel is fabulously well placed, it is right next to the central station and this saves a lot of difficulty with luggage!
This particular establishment needs a little maintenance. As you enter into the building, the carpets/mats are filthy and the paint is chipped off in many locations giving a rundown look. Reception was clearly overrun and requires extra workers, although the girl working upon my arrival did a fantastic job despite some particularly awkward tour guides hassling for attention!
The room was not up to standard cleaning wise. No mattress protector! - This should be grounds for admonishment over anything else. If I stayed at a four or five star establishment without mattress protectors, I would refuse the room ordinarily. It is simply not hygienic. The balcony on my room had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time and there was an ashtray overflowing along with cotton buds and wrappers.

The location of the Mercure Hotel is very close to the bus route Tram route
The room is also very large and comfortable, adding a good travel quality
Next time I go to travel, I will still choose to live in Mercure.
