"The location is recommended, nearby the Central Station. Spacious for a standard room. For standard room is there no outlet available so it was difficult if you want to curl or iron your hair. When I checked in the room looked clean but the toilet was not cleaned the was still urine in the toilet and drops of urine on the toilet seat so I called the reception and they sent somebody to get it cleaned. Staff are friendly."

"Solo traveler here, stayed at this hostel and it was hands down the best I've ever stayed in! * The common areas and hallways are even more stylish and clean than a regular hotel. * Towels and earplugs are provided for free by the bed. * The lockers are quite large, and you can lock them with your room key, no need for an extra padlock. * The curtains are very substantial, offering excellent privacy. * Each bed has both an outlet and a USB port. * There's a shelf above the bed, perfect for placing your belongings. * The beds are sturdy and don't creak at all. * Separate bathrooms and toilets, and the shower rooms are spacious. * You get free access to a coffee machine and a gym. * Laundry facilities and a copier are also available. * The tap water is drinkable. * There's an ALDI supermarket right next door. It's about a 25-minute tram ride from the main square, but everything else is so fantastic that I didn't mind the location at all. For 4000 yen, you'd be hard-pressed to find a hostel of this quality. If you're coming to Antwerp, you absolutely *must* stay here!"

"The hotel is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious enough, and breakfast is excellent. The free parking lot outside the hotel is huge. It's a bit of a distance from the central train station and the old town, requiring public transportation, but getting around is convenient, with several tram stops not far away. A taxi back cost 30 euros."

"Excellent location! It’s super convenient for catching FlixBus or trains from the central station. Situated right at the crossroads of the New and Old Towns, there are tons of supermarkets, restaurants, and bars nearby. If you're feeling lazy, you can even grab a self-service pizza from the hotel lobby (around 9-11 euros). The lobby itself is great, with many guests socializing and dining there. Most importantly, the price is incredibly good value for money! The city tax is also very low, making it much more affordable than hotels in the Netherlands or France."

"A beautifully presented hotel but the area felt a little dirty. Straight across from the train station with transport galore right outside (tram, metro, bikes, scotters and more!) Chinatown next door and the zoo as well however this area feels unloved and dirty. Walking down towards Meir and onwards to Grote Markt you see the real Antwerp with beautiful ornate buildings, markets and shops. Nighttime is when the whole place feels magical. The hotel room was clean and comfortable in size. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were fairly comfortable but the room was hot. The tv casting didn’t work and we could get any of the uk channels which was disappointing. The gym is ok - not massively well equipped and the pool is so cold. Sauna and steam good although not that hot in either. Recommend as a one night pit stop but wouldn’t want to be there for longer than a couple of days."

"Stay was much like others mentioned. Hotel is very new, 24/7 reception, onsite gym and reasonably sized rooms. Some personell doesn't speak Dutch, which is not acceptable to us, please do some effort to learn the language of the country you work in please. The braided, black, tall lady was very friendly. Also a shout out to the breakfast kitchen team, coffee should always come with a small treat. The only very big negative for us was that we put in the special requests that we preferred a quiet room on the back side of the building. We even followed up with an email. Only to be assigned a room on the front of the building when checking in. That is very annoying. Especially since there were rooms available on the back side, which we got assigned after complaining. NOT OK! Had a good stay, nice rest, and didn't mind the 5 mins walk to the metro for the city center. Expensive supermarket nearby was also a plus."

"This hotel was absolutely perfect in every way! It's close to the station, and the views from the hotel were lovely, all while being a very reasonably priced stay. Luggage storage was seamless, and I really appreciated the complimentary 24-hour coffee and tea service. There's even a terrace, so I could enjoy tea while soaking in the pleasant evening breeze. The front desk staff were wonderful. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Antwerp! 😊"

GGuest UserIn terms of value for money, my partner and I confidently give it a solid 5*. Book with breakfast included — it will save you a significant amount of money. There are a few minor points to be aware of: The city itself is very expensive. The lift and electricity in the room only work when the key card is inserted. At breakfast, you can make Belgian waffles yourself, although using an American-style waffle iron. There are some visible signs of wear and tear, and our shower leaked slightly onto the tiles. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. The morning coffee is very good.

There were no slippers (I had my own, so I didn't ask the hotel; maybe like some European hotels, you have to specifically request them, or perhaps they don't provide them at all). The bathroom was clean and new, but the towels were just so-so (clean, not dirty, but the quality wasn't great). The female receptionist was a bit condescending and had an odd demeanor. She sent an intern to handle my check-in, but then came out to whisper with the intern when it was time to pay, insisting on charging a double city tax for a single person. The whole experience was far from ideal, even though I'd like to avoid labeling her as stingy. The male receptionist next to her, however, provided much better service and was more efficient. For travelers arriving or departing Antwerp by train, the hotel's location is excellent, just a one-minute walk to the station.

GGuest UserSuper nice and trendy hotel located in one of Antwerp's most beautiful and vibrant neighborhoods – Antwerp-South, right by a lovely park, parking garages, and amenities. With the tram right outside, you can be in the city center in just 10 minutes. The hotel itself is stylish and modern. Check-in is at the bar, where you immediately receive a delicious welcome cocktail. The hotel lounge is a chic bar with great music or a DJ, and a good menu for snacks, dinner, and drinks. The hotel rooms aren't huge, but they are modern, sleek, and functional, perfect for a weekend in Antwerp. The beds are comfortably firm, and the rooms are well-insulated. Definitely worth a visit!

JJ TripThe location was excellent — very convenient and close to everything we needed. However, our stay was affected by a few issues. The soundproofing of the room was poor; we were woken up around 6 a.m. by the clattering of dishes and cleaning noises from outside. It was difficult to rest properly. Additionally, there were a lot of fruit flies in the room, constantly flying around, which was very bothersome and affected the quality of our stay. I hope the hotel can improve on these issues — otherwise, it’s a real pity given the great location.

The picked food areas are not very big enough to many people to line up to pick good! I recommend all come to have breakfast as early as you can. Overall I sleep well in the night! Thank you! GGuest UserWij verbleven 2 nachten in een kamertype: studio. We kwamen vroeger aan dan de voorziene check-in tijd maar werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. We konden ons omkleden en de bagage werd veilig bewaard aan de receptie (en nadien door een medewerker naar de kamer gebracht). Via een persoonlijke SMS werden we op de hoogte gebracht wanneer de kamer klaar was. Aangezien we toen niet meer in het hotel waren werd de code en procedure duidelijk uitgelegd om later vlot in te checken via huisnummer 115. De studio was ruim en voorzien van alles zoals voorgesteld tijdens de reservatie. Voor de rokers is er een ruime aparte 'patio'. Hier kan je rustig roken en je eigen drankje consumeren zonder de 'niet-rokers' te storen. Zowel in de kamer, kitchenette en badkamer was de hygiëne prima. Op de gang is er tevens een automaat met enkele drankjes, snoep, chips, tandenborstel,... voorzien. Dit hotel voldeed ruimschoots aan alle verwachtingen van een 3-sterren product. Het uitchecken verliep vlot en wederom hartelijk en vriendelijk. In de kamer was het geluid van de straat wel hoorbaar maar dat wisten we op voorhand gezien de ligging van het hotel (bij een volgende reservatie vragen we misschien een kamer aan de binnenzijde). Een hotelkamer in het echte centrum van de stad heeft dan weer andere geluiden. Het hotel is bijzonder gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het centraal (trein)station en op 20 minuten te voet ben je in hartje Antwerpen. Bij een volgende uitstap naar Antwerpen zal onze keuze snel gemaakt zijn en kiezen we voor Arass Hôtel & Business Flats.
