Great
GGuest UserVery clean, freshly renovated rooms (building K). Each room has a hot pot kettle. But mattresses are quite hard. Fresh water, shampoo, toilet paper and trash bags daily.
Good breakfast buffet. Always different kinds of one of each: soup, fried rice, noodles, vegetable and chicken dish. Three types of fruit and salad bar. However, there is only one person preparing eggs and pancakes, which results in a long queue. And only instant coffee.
Location is nice, but the hotel doesn’t practically have its own beach (as well as pool, sun beds and beach towels). During the low tide, it’s impossible to swim due to bushes of seaweed. The beach is nice for morning swims and evening walks. Also elephants are brought there for a swim multiple times a day.
EElena SeledkovaExcellent value for money! The hotel is practically on the beach with its own private area, plenty of available sun loungers, and not too crowded. The breakfast wasn't very diverse, but it was tasty and filling. The staff were all very polite and friendly. There's also a pool on the 4th floor with a wonderful ocean view. Overall, I liked almost everything about it.
GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is decent. The location is excellent and the facilities are ok. However, my experience was incredibly frustrating due to the total lack of control in the beach area.
The Issue: The ”Towel Mafia”
It seems there are people who live at the hotel permanently and take over the beach chairs very early in the morning. By 8:00 AM, all the chairs are empty but ”reserved” with towels.
When my girlfriend and I decided to use two chairs that had been unoccupied for over an hour, a man approached us in a very aggressive manner, claiming the chairs belonged to them simply because he had placed a towel there first.
Lack of Staff Support
The most disappointing part was the hotel's response:
• At Reception: They confirmed that chairs cannot be reserved and that we were free to use them.
• In Practice: This group of residents continued to disturb and harass us day after day.
• Management: Despite being aware of the situation, the hotel staff did absolutely nothing to mediate, enforce the rules, or explain the seating policy to these individuals.
It is a shame that a place with such potential allows certain guests to intimidate others, ruining the peace of a vacation. If you are looking for a hotel where rules are respected and everyone is treated fairly, I would look elsewhere.

Very Good
AAmideeThis hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood!
The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable.
It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat!
Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there!
The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming.
You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!
SShani27Stayed in a Family Bungalow with sea view. The listing states 1 queen and 2 singles but only singles were provided. Staff rectified by joining 2 single beds together for the parents. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast included was good enough, with a few new Thai options daily. The pool area could so with a revamp, sun loungers are old & cushions worn down. Kayaks for rent 150 baht/hour. The food choices on offer can become stale after a few nights. Other options mean travelling into Kai Bae which costs 200 baht each way. Given the location of the resort, It would have been nice if they offered a free shuttle service into town as walking is not an option.
SSigridGiven a beautiful plant with very beautiful garden, unfortunately everything in repair-being condition, it could be a top plant if you invest some work ...such as. Sleep rooms or not put together furniture but renew or supplement suitably ... all small things but many for it.
The staff is super and breakfast is sufficient and good.

Good
XXIANGFENGThe hotel is right next to the white sand beach, the floor is wooden, the indoor environment is general, but compared to other hotels, the price is much cheaper, it should be very suitable for those backpackers who like the price, in the morning, there is breakfast, waiter There are a few attitudes that are quite good, but there are also bosses. However, the folk customs are simple, I went to the third day of the rain, did not go out, nested in the room to read a book, the waiter also quietly stuffed two bottles of water at my door, my heart is very warm, thank you very much!
MMerlinThe accommodation is very simple and in places very run down, the cleanliness is acceptable. Despite this, I was able to sleep here without any problems and for the price you can't really get upset about unnecessary little things. Accordingly, I would recommend it to people who are not looking for extraordinary luxury, but are simply looking for cheap, passable accommodation.
