Modern hotel with good service. Staff are polite and responsive; drivers have taken to the station free of charge when they have not been able to order a taxi by phone. Breakfast was served at the table: omlet with vegetables, fresh fruit in cutting, juice, coffee or tea. In the room everything works well: air conditioning, good lighting, mini-fridge, TV.

The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, especially the guy at the front desk, who speaks fluent English and gave us a lot of local travel tips. There are a variety of breakfasts, and Moroccan traditional pancakes and mint tea are especially recommended! The terrace on the top floor has a great view, overlooking the sunset at the port of Tangier, and it is a great place to take photos. In addition, this trip to Morocco was made thanks to the arrangement of the tour guide ** Xiaolin**. The itinerary was reasonable, the explanation was professional, and he took us to eat a lot of authentic food. Good area, kasbah medina within walking distance (10-15 minutes). The rooms are exactly as in the photo, small but clean and not tired, cleaning every day (quickly and cleanly). Our room overlooked the road but it was not noisy, inside the hotel it was also quiet. Breakfasts are delicious, buffet on the 5th floor, after 11 there is a restaurant there. Many thanks to all the girls at the reception, very friendly and helped with everything. Price-service is a very good option.

The room definitely needs some renovations. The parquet flooring at the entrance is damp and crumbling, the shower head is leaking, and the extra breakfast was a bit disappointing when we didn't get scrambled eggs, and many other items were already out of stock. The pool is open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., so we missed it. Overall, it's a decent option for the price. There are a lot of beggars along the way from the train station, though, so beware.

This time I was not as comfortable as the last time. The room lacked a fridge, the bathtub is too high. Otherwise the WiFi has improved a lot and there is a very good connection throughout the hotel.

Stayed here many times, very good central location. Rooms of variable quality, a few have balconies, plenty hot water, nice pool and garden, unfortunately deckchairs are no longer allowed in garden...only round the pool. Breakfast is OK, bit expensive, nice cafes just round corner offer better coffee and value. Garden used as gaint bar / restaurant / spanish caberet in summer evenings, can be noisy in pool side rooms, in evening, but I dont mind it.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Omar Khayam. We traveled as a family with our daughter, and everything was excellent. The location is perfect for exploring Tangier, the design of the house is beautiful and full of charm, and the breakfast was simply delicious. We felt very comfortable and well-received throughout our stay. Without a doubt, it's a place we would return to and highly recommend to anyone looking to experience the authentic atmosphere of Tangier. Thank you for everything!

The location is excellent—quiet, away from the city’s noise, and offering a beautiful sea view that makes for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the young staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. I would recommend this hotel to travelers across different budgets. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms rely on air conditioning for heating, which was not very comfortable. A proper heating system, such as external radiators, would greatly improve guest comfort. During my 9-night stay, this issue unfortunately contributed to me catching a cold. Additionally, installing bidets in the bathrooms would be a valuable upgrade, as this is an important feature many travelers appreciate but is currently missing. It is a relatively small investment that could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
