There is a simple Japanese sake cafe with simple Japanese home cooked to go along with sake/beer or wines (just diagonal across the hotel as per hotel) open by Japanese owner and a ********* staff working inside. Friendly and home feel with many other Japanese inside.."

KKen SooI stayed at Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae for 2 nights, during my trip and overall had a good experience. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to Sakae station, shopping areas, and many restaurants.
The room was clean and comfortable, Like most business hotels in Japan, the room size is a bit small, but it was still manageable for two people with luggage.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The hotel also felt quiet and safe at night, which made the stay more comfortable.
Overall, it is a good value hotel with a great location in Nagoya. I would recommend it for travelers who want a clean and convenient place to stay in the Sakae area.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was an excellent hotel experience. The environment was quiet and very clean, especially the bed, which left a lasting impression. The bed was large, and both the mattress and bedding were exceptionally clean, which isn't always the case in hotels, making for a very peaceful night's sleep.
One small detail truly stood out: the slippers on the first day weren't quite right, but after cleaning on the second day, they were replaced with a more comfortable pair (I'm not sure if this was a deliberate adjustment by the staff, but it definitely left a positive impression). Also, when I accidentally stained the bedsheet, the cleaning staff handled it incredibly thoroughly and efficiently, for which I'm very grateful.
The hotel also offers a variety of items for rent, such as different types of pillows, curling irons, garment steamers, and bottle openers, which is very thoughtful for travelers. The front desk service was consistently polite and attentive, making me feel respected and comfortable throughout my stay.

There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, and nearby you'll find Komeda's Coffee and Sekai no Yamachan (famous for its chicken wings), along with many other shops. You can also enjoy free drinks in the lobby.

GGuest UserI booked 2 rooms for our family totally 2adults,1teen and 1kid. The space of room is enough for 2, everything is perfect. Location is great and complimentary breakfast is really good. We can leave luggages at hotel when going to Nagashima Spaland.

AAnonymous UserI came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is superb, just about a 7-minute walk to the Sakae district. Convenience stores and drugstores are less than a 5-minute walk away, and there's a bus stop nearby with direct routes to famous attractions like Tokugawa-en Garden, Nagoya Castle, and Osu Shopping Street. There's also a great grilled eel restaurant close to the hotel, and their unagi don is absolutely delicious. The hotel facilities are complete, and the hygiene is consistently excellent. The breakfast, which changes daily, is also very tasty. It's an ideal choice for a trip to Nagoya.

- near JR & subway station.
- near many food & shopping areas.
- have locking areas for luggage when we want to leaves the luggages in the hotel after check-out.
The Bad:
- a bit small but expected.
- there is a step down when coming out of the bathroom and toilet. Somewhat dangerous for elderly.
- there are road works in front of the hotel causing it a bit troublesome going in & out.
We did not managed to book a room with 2 beds. So, we booked a double bed (about 1.4m) a bit cramped but still okay compare to some other hotel double beds.

TTiantianzhuizhumaqidaThe location is excellent, right in front of Nagoya Station. I specifically chose it for its proximity to the bus center since I was taking a highway bus. It's super convenient with izakayas and the station nearby, and I even discovered a theater. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The room size wasn't small at all, and while double beds are usually 1.4 meters wide, this one was 1.6 meters, which felt very spacious. Plus, they had a great selection of amenities downstairs.

GGbooThis is a Meitetsu Inn property, so the rooms are on the smaller side, with typical Japanese unit baths. At night, the street below transforms into a vibrant, neon-lit entertainment district.
The location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, and right by Hisaya-odori Subway Exit 4, just a five-minute walk away.
The breakfast on the first floor, though simple, is quite good. The restaurant offers complimentary tea and coffee all day (until 9 PM) and has a microwave. Vending machines are located on the 4th and 11th floors. There's also a self-service laundry.
Amenities are available for self-service right next to the elevators on the first floor, facing the front desk.
The front desk service was the most 'Showa-era' (old-fashioned, warm, and attentive) hospitality I've ever encountered – incredibly friendly.
Perhaps because it was a Saturday, the price I paid seemed to be about double the usual rate. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel was very conveniently located, close to the live house we were visiting that weekend. The facilities were very clean, including the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. We slept well. The staff was efficient and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out.
The only downside is that the hotel is located in a very lively area of Nagoya, and it was quite noisy outside until late at night. We personally didn’t have any trouble sleeping, and there was no noise from neighboring rooms, but it’s something worth keeping in mind.
