Amazing
BBrendaChenThe drinks and ice cream at the welcome bar were absolutely delicious. The onsen bath was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast area, though compact, felt very cozy and served a wonderful selection of delicious food, featuring many local Hakodate ingredients. Our room was also surprisingly spacious!
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfect for introverts, offering fully self-service check-in, check-out, and luggage storage. You can grab toothbrushes and combs from the front desk yourself. Perhaps due to language barriers, I found the staff to be a bit indifferent. The duvet looked a little worn and had some old stains, but the bedside tables had a charming, historic feel. The bathroom was narrow but very clean. In the triple room, we could barely open one suitcase. We chose a room away from the elevator, so our window offered a view of JR Hakodate Station, which really highlights how incredibly close the hotel is – just a few minutes' walk. There's also a Maxvalu supermarket about a 10-minute walk away, which is quite large and good for browsing. Plus, there's a delicious soup curry restaurant, King Bear, nearby.
MmaiiiCThis was my first time staying at Hokke Club Hakodate!
I stayed on the 12th floor, and the view was amazing—Goryokaku Tower, Mt. Hakodate, and the ocean were all beautiful! 😍
Goryokaku Tower was only a 15-minute walk away.
There were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel, so the location was great!
There was a Lucky Pierrot nearby, so we took some back to the hotel and enjoyed it! !!
The staff were also very kind.
The breakfast buffet included squid sashimi 🦑 and a wide variety of Hokkaido dishes, which were delicious.
The room was spacious, with plenty of room even with my suitcase unfolded. I was also very happy to find chilled glasses in the refrigerator! I enjoyed my ice-cold 🍺.
The service was wonderful, down to the smallest details. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Hakodate again! !! 🩷
MM481516****The room's location is great, with a tram stop right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to several attractions. One minor drawback is that there's no complimentary bottled water, but I think that's the case with most MyStays hotels.
んんしろIt's about a 10-minute walk from the station and the morning market. It takes about 20 minutes by bus to get to Goryokaku. There's a free drink corner on the second floor until 11 PM, and you can also have alcohol. It feels a little dated, but the staff are friendly and I have no complaints. The sauna was a little on the cool side, but the cold plunge pool was fantastic.
MmatcharoesAccessible combinis and mall/food store around the area! Do note though they only have 1 kind of pillow and it was VERY uncomfortable for me for I got stiff neck till the point I couldnt turn to either sides and friend had to pull me up. Would recommend sleeping without their pillow to be safer.
YYZKWe stayed at LC Goryokaku Hotel during our family trip to Hakodate and were pleasantly surprised by how well it suited our needs. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Goryokaku Park and the Tower, which made it easy for us to explore the area with our kids without needing transportation all the time.
The room was clean, spacious enough for a small family, and had thoughtful touches like slippers, toiletries, and even a small seating area where we could unwind. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet at night, which made it easy for the children to fall asleep.
The hotel also offers free drinks in the lounge, which was a nice touch, and there's a laundry area, which is very useful when traveling with kids.
AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, just sandwiched in the middle. I entered the room before 14 o'clock, and thank you for the front desk. The bed was small and the room was small, but just an area was empty to spread out the large suitcase, and the design was very good. The warm light effect is very good (in fact, it is 2 bulbs 💡) The hand sanitizer smells good. Disadvantages: Dry laundry
JjingzongThis is the hotel we changed from the chain hotel at the station. Because there is a hot spring here. It is only one stop from the airport to the hotel, and even if you take a taxi, it is only 50 RMB. There is a very convenient bus stop at the door of the hotel, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. The hotel's breakfast is very rich and you can eat it every day. The hot spring service is also quite commendable.
I highly recommend it. If you go with a family, book a room by the sea. In fact, it is very cost-effective. One room can accommodate 4~5 people, and then looking at the seaside is very good.
GGuest UserThe room itself was a little bit small and quite cramped. Just about enough space for one. But if you are plus sized it might seem too small. The toilet was also slightly narrow.
Facilities were great, with onsen available. Within touching distance of the local public street car and bus stop. Front desk were really friendly and helpful despite the limited English spoken. They also operate early from 8am till fairly late 10pm. And the nearest konbini was also only about 200m away.
