ShejianshangdejiasitingI visited Hakodate during Golden Week, and it was my first time traveling here by Shinkansen from Sendai, via Aomori. That's why I chose a hotel right next to the JR station. Its convenience in terms of transportation is simply unbeatable.
Hakodate Morning Market is just across the street from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly easy.
Since there were many guests checking in, both the check-in process and waiting for the elevators took quite a bit of time.
The room amenities were complete and comfortable.
The only downside was that the room rate during Golden Week was 3-4 times higher than usual, which was definitely not cheap.

XiaotaotaoCheck-in was smooth. The room was spacious enough for the whole family, no problem at all. Downstairs, it's connected to Daikoku Drugstore and Matsuoka Shoten, making souvenir shopping very convenient. The hotel also has a nice commemorative stamp. We checked in during their 10th-anniversary celebration, and the kids got raffle stickers for answering some questions. There are many dinner options near the hotel, but expect some queues.
The hotel's breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋 – I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The location is also fantastic; it's right across the bus station after you exit the train station. It's super convenient for getting to all the attractions in Hakodate, and also very easy to get to Hakodate Airport.

Miimouse TravelHotel is located close to the station so it was easy access from the airport. We checked in around 20:00 and we booked a bus runs by hotel (2,000yen per person) go to Hakodate mountain to see this famous night view. It was the last two seats so if you are thinking to go better to book in advance.
Hotel also runs complementary shuttle bus around the city - easy access to every sightseeing place.
Breakfast buffet was great, they have a little their own inconvenient store in the hotel so you don’t have to go out to buy something that you need. The lounge area was also great. after we took a bath we both and ice cream and we sat down there walking at the traditional sea glasses lamps which was pretty good time.

I'd call this unbeatable. First off, the front desk service was truly above and beyond my expectations. It was snowing heavily, and the bellhop was still waiting outside for guests to arrive, helping with luggage. The outdoor private onsen in the room was also exceptional; the view and atmosphere were incredible. The breakfast, with its unbeatable ocean view, topped it all off. I had a wonderful day in Hakodate!

The hotel is just diagonally across from Hakodate Station, less than a ten-minute walk away. Since we arrived at noon and couldn't check in yet, the front desk staff guided us to a dedicated room for self-service luggage storage. We then asked for a map and advice on how to best plan our sightseeing in Hakodate. She suggested we take a taxi directly to Hachiman-zaka Slope, as the bus services there are infrequent. After visiting that attraction, we could then go to other sights like Mount Hakodate, Motomachi Park, and the Red Brick Warehouses. For tomorrow morning, we could simply enjoy a sea urchin rice bowl at the Morning Market before heading off to Asahikawa, making for a relaxed trip.

A rare find at this ocean-view hot spring hotel! Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the sea, daydreaming, or chatting is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we had a dedicated butler who escorted us to the large lounge for check-in. While their English wasn't fluent, they could communicate in Japanese and Chinese using a translation app, and were very responsible in repeatedly confirming our reservation times. The private hot spring bath we booked was excellent in both its environment and facilities, and both the indoor and outdoor public baths offered ocean views. Cleanliness was impeccable, and the ocean-view room was enormous; we even had albatrosses visiting outside the window. The kaiseki cuisine at breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing—delicious and beautifully presented—I was extremely satisfied!

Anonymous UserThe hotel boasts a stylish interior and a beautiful sky lounge offering stunning night views of Hakodate. Its location is excellent, with easy access to the Hakodate Morning Market and the Red Brick Warehouses, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel also provides onsen facilities, which are a great addition—though I didn’t get the opportunity to try them during my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Kudos to this hotel. My stay there was amazing. The hotel is close to streetcar station, but during winter it still pretty challenging to pull your luggage. That is expected situation for any hotel in Hokkaido 😆. The receptionist was really helpful. She help to call taxi for me when I don’t know how to do so.

XunzhaolongzhudejiqimaoThis hotel offers incredible value for money! The rooms come with a washing machine and microwave, and there's a convenience store and a drugstore just a short walk away. Plus, an Aeon mall is a bit further down near Hakodate Station. The airport shuttle stops right in front, making airport access super convenient. The staff are all very friendly, and there's even a kind ********* staff member at the front desk. The breakfast is absolutely amazing – the sashimi is incredibly fresh, easily on par with Hakodate morning market. Definitely choose the Japanese breakfast! For this price, it's far better value than the popular hotels near Hakodate Station. Highly recommend!
