Hakodate Hotels with Wifi

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It looked like it wasn't far from the JR station, but we arrived on a day with a heavy blizzard – something I, as someone from the south, had never experienced before. Just those few traffic lights left us utterly exhausted by the time we reached the hotel. Before checking out, we specifically called taxis. The minimum fare was 700 yen, and since we had a lot of luggage, we needed two cars. This was the only taxi company in Hakodate, Donan Taxi, that didn't charge a service fee for calling a cab, and the front desk was very helpful in arranging it for us. Upon check-in, you definitely need to read the instructions. Used towels and bath towels can be exchanged at the front desk, but there's an additional charge of 200 yen for each extra towel. The hotel's only ice machine is in the convenience store on the first floor. The hotel breakfast was fantastic! The seafood changed daily – sweet shrimp on the first day, salmon on the second, plus fresh shrimp tempura every day. The miso soup was delicious too. The room even had a washing machine, which is incredibly convenient for families on long trips. We stayed on the 13th floor, and the ocean view was incredibly soothing. There's a beach not far from the hotel, and even in such cold weather, people were out surfing. The hotel's large public bath is also great; the women's bath is on the basement floor, and the men's is on the first floor. They use POLA toiletries. For this price, and with such a spacious room, you really can't go wrong!"

The bay view is absolutely stunning. Service: Very good. They even offer a pillow menu and aromatherapy choices in the evening."

"The hotel is directly opposite JR Station, making it super convenient to get around. Hakodate Morning Market is right behind it, and it's just a 20-minute walk to the Hakodateyama Ropeway. This is actually the hotel featured in the Detective Conan movie 'The Million-Dollar Pentagram,' and it's filled with Conan-themed elements! The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread is fantastic."

"The room was great! It really shows that prices in Tohoku are always a steal; for the same price, you'd only get a hostel in Tokyo. The room was new, and the facilities were good. The front desk staff were very friendly. Most importantly, if you wake up early enough, you can take the elevator to the top floor, then go to the fire escape, and you'll be able to see a beautiful sunrise over Hakodate. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR station, which is super convenient. There are also plenty of dining options downstairs, which is a big plus!"

"You can reach the hotel by taking a bus from the station to the left of the airport exit. The bus to Horaicho costs 700 JPY and conveniently drops you right at the hotel entrance. You can also take a bus from the hotel to the airport, though services are less frequent, so you'll need to check the schedule carefully. The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both Jujigai and Horaicho tram stations, and within walking distance of the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses. The room was spacious, perfect for one person, with enough space to open my suitcase. It came with a fridge for food, and instant tea and coffee, but no complimentary water, so I had to buy some from a convenience store. The bedding was comfortable, and while the pillow was a bit firm, it was still okay. I didn't find any bed bugs, and the bathroom was clean. Housekeeping isn't daily; a full clean is done every three or four days. On other days, you need to leave towels to be replaced and trash outside your door by 10 AM. Breakfast was plentiful and satisfying every day. It's a buffet with a wide variety of options, including freshly prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the pork rice bowl. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, but please note that entry stops at 9:30 AM. The lobby offers complimentary drinks from 3 PM to 10 PM. The Hakodate milk and yogurt were delicious. Alcoholic beverages were also available, but I don't drink. Near the elevators, you'll find pajamas, toothbrushes, razors, facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion available for guests to take as needed. There's also a laundry room and microwave on the first floor (and seemingly an ice maker), but I didn't use them. The service was excellent. Even though there was a language barrier, the staff tried very hard to explain things clearly to me. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Coming from the airport, there's a direct bus to Hakodate Station, and the hotel is very close to the station. The front desk service was excellent. On the first floor, they have thoughtful travel guides and restaurant recommendations. The large public bath was very relaxing."

"The breakfast was terrible, like pre-made meals. There was hardly any decent food, and it was exactly the same for two days straight, with no changes to the dishes at all. The Wi-Fi was extremely unstable, constantly losing signal and speed. The room felt old and was cramped for two people. It was stuffy; even with the AC off, it was hot, and I woke up every morning with a damp back. There weren't many power outlets, and their placement was inconvenient, making charging a hassle."

"Have been staying here ever since I first travelled in Hakodate, and I have to say it's still as good as before. The hotel is located minutes away from a tram station and just beside the Red Brick Warehouse area. Towels and amenities are provided, bunk room and bed are big and comfortable. Will continue staying at this hotel when I come back again in the future."

"Room is spacious and bed is big and comfortable. Love the memory foam pillow as well. Onsen is basic with just one 'pool'. Breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. You get to choose between 2 restaurants - buffet or Japanese dining. We stayed 2 night so we get to try both. I personally prefer the buffet as the variety and quality of food is really good. My husband prefer the Japanese dining it is less chaotic compared to the buffet restaurant as it has less people. Location is great. Walking distance to a few tourists attraction."

"The front desk service was excellent, with staff who spoke Chinese. They patiently explained how to get to the beach and even gave us a map 🗺️. The hotel's location is fantastic. You can spot it right away after exiting the JR station and turning left. It's also super convenient to get here from the airport by taking bus number 3, which drops you off at the JR station. The breakfast was plentiful, with sashimi, noodles, bread, fruit, fried chicken, and more. The milk tasted great. The restaurant offers outdoor views, so it was lovely to eat and gaze out the window while it snowed. The onsen ♨️ was decent, nothing spectacular but good enough. They provided Sekkisei skincare products, which are well-known. However, the toothbrush was a major downside. It was incredibly hard, so much so that it hurt my mouth when brushing. I strongly recommend the hotel replaces the toothbrushes❗️"
