"Hotel is in a prime location in central chennai and it pretty much felt like a 3 star hotel experience. The room we stayed was decent. I paid a little extra for the complimentary breakfast but it was worth it - they had sumptuous items for the breakfast. Room service was decent as well. Some observations - there was only one housekeeping person in the night and we had to wait for a long time for a service. We needed additional bed and the quality of the same was not great. Celiing above the room was wet (maybe because of excessive rains in chennai. They were renovating the hotel during our stay and it felt odd."

The hotel is situated in a posh location with excellent accessibility via the metro, and there’s ample car parking, which is a significant plus for guests traveling by vehicle. From the moment I arrived, the staff were courteous and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did encounter some issues that affected my overall experience. The room service was notably slow; on my first night, it took almost an hour for my dinner to be delivered. When it finally arrived, the food was cold and not very presentable. This was disappointing, especially after a long day of business meetings. To avoid further hassle, I decided to order through Zomato on the following day. The breakfast buffet, however, was a highlight of my stay. It offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that guests could find something to suit their tastes. The room itself was spacious, which added to the comfort of my stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was inadequate for the hot Chennai climate. After a tiring day, I expected the room to provide a comfortable retreat, but the AC was slow to cool the space. This led me to request a room change, but even in the new room, the issue persisted, which was disappointing for a three-star establishment. Despite these hiccups, the staff at the bar and restaurant were friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. Their service stood out as a strong point during my stay. I appreciated their willingness to assist, which helped offset some of the frustrations I encountered. As a regular business traveler, staying in hotels 10-15 days each month, I have developed a keen sense of value for money. While I found several aspects of my stay at Beverly Hotel satisfactory, I felt that the shortcomings—particularly regarding room service and air conditioning—diminished the overall value given the amount I paid."
