"The B&B is located in the scenic area, which is convenient for sightseeing. We arrived at night and called the B&B owner, who quickly came to show us the way. The room was very clean. I forgot to take pictures of the room. I booked a family suite with a loft and a small balcony. The pictures I took were the views from the balcony. When I left, the proprietress gave me a bag of Suzhou pastries. She was very enthusiastic. It was my first time staying in a B&B there, and I also saw the night view. There were also few people visiting in the morning, so it was a good experience!"

"The hotel is at perfect location of the ancient town, well decorated and large rooms with beautiful view directly to the canal. We book a duplex room which is perfect for 4 persons, with a big balcony which is very chill to sit there drinking tea and watch nice view surrounding. The host is very friendly and helpful. Especially there is a family restaurant at opposite site, owner is the hotel host's sister, you can taste all the best food of Zhouzhuang here in a family like atmosphere. We have travelled from Shanghai to Wuzhen, then from Wuzhen to Zhouzhuang, also spend a day to Suzhou which is about 50 minutes by car from Zhouzhuang, among all these places we find Zhouzhuang is the best water ancient town, it is a must visit place if you like the water ancient towns in China."

"This is the most comfortable B&B I've ever stayed in. We booked a room facing the river, so there weren't many people passing by. It's off the main road, so it's very quiet. Free parking is especially important!
The hostess and the owner were very welcoming and personally picked us up and dropped us off.
Speaking of the room, I've stayed in so many hotels, and I always find some things lacking, but Zen Inn was very user-friendly, with electric curtains, a projection TV, and impeccably clean bathroom corners.
The hostess was very welcoming, offering fruit snacks and turning on the air conditioning in advance. It truly felt like home.

Next door is the beautiful ”Bacheng Wetland Park”. The only drawback is that there are too few tourists and no supporting restaurants. LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

Don't chose room that overlooks inner yard unless you want to wake up with sound of kids songs.
When I came to my room I was greeted with empty water bottle on the floor at the door, as well spotted bits of trash here and there...
Breakfast is good but don't expect anything western except of toasts and coffee.
Other than that I liked my stay, nice and quiet (most of time).
Also there is swimming pool in sports center 5 min away from hotel :) and cafes

GGuest UserThis is a great B&B with unique and stylish decor. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and my kids said they liked it better than the Marriott in Shanghai. The location is also great, right by a tributary river, very quiet. It's just a few minutes' walk to the bustling Shuangqiao Bridge and close to the boat pier. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, and the two front desk ladies were warm and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

CChenThis inn is in such a beautiful location. I only stayed one night, but definitely want to come back and stay longer. The host was warm and friendly. We connected on WeChat the day before and she provide a waypoint for gps when booking a car. She met up with me in the pedestrian street outside of the town’s gate to guide me in and helped with the luggage. The location is very convenient. This is an ancient town so the street surfaces are stone slabs and uneven cobblestones. But going in is mostly smooth, cross one bridge and the inn is right there, about as close to the entrance and as least hassle as you can get. The waterway in front of the inn is travelled by the row boats whether they’re on the day or evening tour route so there’s plenty to people watch from the balcony. Overall a great place, great host, and highly recommended. Little tip, if you can store luggage at the airport or train station, take only what you need for your stay so you don’t have too much luggage to weigh you down for the trek in and out. The balcony rooms are walkup only.

It is recommended that there be a partition between the shower and toilet in this bathroom. Even if you draw a shower curtain, it is a bit cold to take a shower with the air conditioner on in early April. After all, there is no air conditioner in the bathroom. Environment: It is only 200 to 300 meters away from the scenic spot, and the location is excellent! We almost got up early in the morning to go to the scenic spot to eat a bowl of noodles, and we could also go shopping and have coffee before coming back in the evening, which was great👍🏻
Hygiene: I arrived at the store after ten o'clock. I was unlucky and met a family who was sleeping in. They went out to have breakfast at eleven fifty. They sat in the yard and waited until twelve twenty before checking out. The aunt cleaned it and we hurried in. After resting, the smell of smoke was very strong in the room when the door was opened. It took five minutes to open the window to ventilate and it got better. Nowadays, most hotels have a 14:00 check-in policy, which is really a headache!
Service: The bosses were very considerate. They were waiting on the roadside when we were about to arrive and even left a parking space. Thank you!
Summary: A very cost-effective B&B where you can stay for a few more days if you have time! If you don’t go out for a walk, just sit on the sofa and watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. It’s quite pleasant (*＾ー＾)
