"First, the pros: The overall facilities are very good, quite new, aesthetically pleasing, and the linens are high-quality. The breakfast is refreshing; although small, the ingredients are of good quality and filling. It's fairly convenient to the cemetery, but a bit of a walk from the subway station, which isn't particularly convenient for the elderly or children; taking a taxi is recommended.
Cons: The staff service doesn't justify the price. I was in a rush to activate my membership card, and firstly, their manner was unpleasant, making me feel like I was being taken advantage of by booking through Ctrip. Secondly, a male staff member carelessly left my ID card in a crack in the counter. The female supervisor said she'd activate the membership first, and if I wasn't in a hurry, she'd bring my ID to my room later. Me: ??? Of course I was in a hurry!
The toilet seat was set too hot, and the staff didn't know how to adjust it, requiring me to call a senior employee. While their problem-solving attitude was good, it felt like they hadn't explained it beforehand. When I asked about the late-night porridge arrangement, the staff seemed reluctant, which I also found strange. When I arrived at 9:40, the porridge was almost gone, and the black bean porridge was down to just a little bit of black bean liquid. Perhaps they hadn't prepared enough food.
Of course, the two girls were quite nice the next day. They were very generous with the water they offered, and kept apologizing when asked for feedback. But really, what did it have to do with them?"

"The location is excellent, very close to Shuangqiao (Double Bridge), and not directly on the river, which made for a very quiet night's sleep. The owner was also very friendly and even picked us up in the evening, saving us the hassle of dragging our luggage through the old town. The room type was great, and the owner even upgraded us for free. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!"

SCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience!
Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe.
The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes.
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained.
Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out.
For the price, this homestay offered excellent value.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

Guest UserThis guesthouse is really great! It has its own unique charm, the surroundings are beautiful, and it's super clean and tidy. A shuttle picked us up right at the parking lot, and it's only about a hundred meters from the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the dishes are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing. Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍👍

This guesthouse was the hidden gem of our trip! The room looked exactly like the pictures, every corner was picture-perfect, and my friends kept asking for the address on social media. The decor was romantic and cozy, and it was wonderfully quiet and undisturbed at night. The location is fantastic, right within the scenic area and central business district, making getting around super convenient. The power outlets in the room were thoughtfully placed, the bathroom had plenty of hot water and stable pressure, the toiletries smelled great, the natural light was excellent, and the view from the window was superb. Such a 'home away from home' experience is truly rare to find!

The homestay is located near Huaxiang Yuxiang, and there is a beautiful light show at night.
The boss was very welcoming. Since we live in a water town, there are inevitably mosquitoes. My baby hates mosquitoes, so the boss provided an electric mosquito swatter in time and killed all the mosquitoes.
Among the B&Bs in the scenic area, this one is cost-effective and suitable for a simple rest at night. I will come to Zhouzhuang again. 😀

lschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

Zhouzhuang was an absolute highlight of my trip. We arrived a bit late, but the owner of Longfengqiyuan 龙凤栖院（周庄古镇店） went out of his way to help us move our heavy luggage to the town center , such kindness truly made a difference. This is a place where time seems to slow down and beauty reveals itself in the calmest moments. The town’s ancient bridges, winding canals, and lantern-lit nights create an atmosphere that’s both peaceful and poetic. Take your time here to simply breathe, wander, and enjoy the quiet charm of Zhouzhuang.

I cannot recommend this place enough, like living inside a magical fairytale! Zhouzhuang itself is one of the most beautiful places I've visited, and getting to live in a hotel that looks right out of history but with all modern comforts was such a special experience! The room was spacious and beautiful, with large, comfortable beds, and a nice, big clean bathroom. Outside it was a beautiful courtyard with a large osmanthus tree in full bloom, the scent perfuming the air whenever we left the door open.
The owner, Fei, was super friendly and helpful - we communicated through the hotel's wechat beforehand and she came to meet us at the nearest gate to the ancient town to help guide us through getting tickets, and then helping us carry our luggage to the hotel. On the day we left it was raining, and not only did the hotel staff carry our luggage back outside the town, we were given umbrellas to keep so we wouldn't get wet while waiting for our didi ride.
The hotel itself doesn't serve breakfast, but there are lots of restaurants and little snack shops and juice bars around, so finding delicious things to eat and drink is easy.
We stayed here while heading over to Suzhou to visit the gardens, it's about an hour's taxi drive away. A very immersive cultural experience!
A magical stay all around, I really hope I will be able to come back and visit again one day!
