"When I checked in on the first day, a young lady at the front desk received very good reception, praise, but the facilities and equipment were a bit not very good, I booked two rooms, one of the rooms' showers was bad (repaired after telling) The air conditioner was noisy, and the TV in the other room was broken and could not be turned on. I told the front desk to call the waiter to check and tell us that the repair is not good. I told us that I would change the room tomorrow. In fact, I can understand it. I thought it was too troublesome to change it. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow was too soft. The room can put two harder pillows. These can actually be understood. The most important thing is that someone knocked on the wrong door in the middle of the night the next night. It was very scary. I told the front desk to help check the monitoring. I said that the person in the next room knocked on the wrong door and there was no measure. If summed up, the service was praised. The facilities and equipment need to be strengthened. We booked the zen room which is more than enough for family of 3. The building is in front of a small waterway with the balcomy looking over it. It is very peaceful and pretty. It is a less than 5 mins walk to the ticketed gantry of the main town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My son vomitted on his winter coat and the lady boss helped us wash and dry and even offered to lend us one. They offered us snacks and fruits. Will sure recommend this place to my friends.

Jas.nThe hotel is in a great location, inside Zhouzhuang water town (which is absolutely stunning day or night). Upon arrival the owner sent me a message on WeChat with the basic instructions and some recommendations, and explained that because the hotel is located inside the scenic area of Zhouzhuang there is a ticket fee one would have to pay if they enter between 8am and 5pm but before or after that time entrance is free, so it is best to leave and enter before or after those times. She also recommended a theatre performance to me and got a ticket at a discounted price which was nice (the theatre performance was incredible too).
Since before arrival I had a bit of trouble with my payment methods, but the owner was very patient and kind and gave me time to solve the problem.
The room was modern and clean, with well working appliances and a big bed.

Guest UserThis guesthouse is really great! It has its own unique charm, the surroundings are beautiful, and it's super clean and tidy. A shuttle picked us up right at the parking lot, and it's only about a hundred meters from the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the dishes are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing. Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍👍

ELStravelOur time at Hotel Zhaoye was lovely! The homestay staff were kind, communicative, and accommodating. They offered Chinese and Western breakfast options, including meatless options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The location of the homestay was perfect for those visiting Zhaozhuang. The staff recommended local restaurants and activities. It was easiest to communicate via Weixin/Wechat or in-person. Would recommend!

This guesthouse was the hidden gem of our trip! The room looked exactly like the pictures, every corner was picture-perfect, and my friends kept asking for the address on social media. The decor was romantic and cozy, and it was wonderfully quiet and undisturbed at night. The location is fantastic, right within the scenic area and central business district, making getting around super convenient. The power outlets in the room were thoughtfully placed, the bathroom had plenty of hot water and stable pressure, the toiletries smelled great, the natural light was excellent, and the view from the window was superb. Such a 'home away from home' experience is truly rare to find!

lschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

The homestay is located near Huaxiang Yuxiang, and there is a beautiful light show at night.
The boss was very welcoming. Since we live in a water town, there are inevitably mosquitoes. My baby hates mosquitoes, so the boss provided an electric mosquito swatter in time and killed all the mosquitoes.
Among the B&Bs in the scenic area, this one is cost-effective and suitable for a simple rest at night. I will come to Zhouzhuang again. 😀
