This Hanting Hotel is conveniently located right next to the filming site for *The Knockout*, which was our primary reason for visiting. It's also extremely close to the Jiangmen bus drop-off point, making its location truly excellent and convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated, and the smart facilities, typical of a Hanting 3.5 property, were also a pleasant surprise. (Breakfast was decent too, though I personally tend to avoid eating within tourist areas.) I have a feeling this might just be the newest hotel in the entire Thirty-Three Market area.
Hanting Hotels always impress me with their site selection. This one strikes that perfect balance: locations with a better spot aren't as comfortable, and more comfortable places don't have as good a location. It's truly ideal for backpackers who rely on public transportation! (Perfect for a budget-conscious traveler like me! 😂)

"For the price, it's definitely great value for money! However, if you have higher standards, you should definitely reconsider. I was completely misled by the website photos and made a terrible booking mistake! In reality, it's a very basic, no-frills budget hotel. The rooms are tiny, amenities are sparse, and the walls look quite worn, even dilapidated in some spots. That said, the cleanliness and service were decent enough. If you have any expectations, don't be fooled by the impressive, towering building shown in the promotional pictures. We've honestly never stayed in a room this rundown, but the front desk staff were quite pleasant. We grudgingly toughed it out for three nights before moving to the Phoenix Hotel. I've included a photo of a corner of the room's wall."

The bed also has black fluff. The room space is quite large, the tables and chairs are big enough, and the office has a seat. There is no network when the TV is turned off, and the network that does not need a password is particularly poor. The bath mattress is quite comfortable! But the overall feeling is not as good as the whole season I have lived in before.

Hotel parking very difficult to find as it was only partially opened in Oct 2024. I don’t like the bbq food store right outside the hotel entrance as it created a lot of smoke and make the hotel downgraded with a local food street right outside.

LLongfeifengyangThe hotel is converted from a fortified watchtower, surrounded by fish ponds and rice paddies, offering exceptional views. It's also conveniently located very close to Kaiping's two main Diaolou attractions, Liyuan Garden and Zili Village. The architecture boasts a distinct local character, and there's a private parking lot right at the entrance.
The in-room facilities are very well-equipped. The bathroom features a thoughtfully designed three-part layout (with separate wet and dry areas) and even includes a smart toilet.
The hotel service is incredibly attentive. On the morning of our arrival, the hotel called to confirm our check-in time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning in advance. The welcome snacks were delicious, and the nine-compartment breakfast was a unique highlight.
A minor drawback, likely due to the original design of the old building, is the lack of an elevator and the rather steep stairs. Fortunately, the total number of floors isn't too high, but for guests traveling with elderly individuals or young children, booking a ground-floor room is highly recommended. Additionally, the entrance signage from the main road isn't very clear. It would be great if they could add more directional signs.

SSheheitWe booked 4 rooms and there was definitely enough space. The dry and wet separation in the toilet is done very well, and the toilet is even smarter, like the ones in Japan, very comfortable. Xiaodu Al Butler is very convenient, so I am very satisfied with everything.
The only minus point is the sound insulation performance. Firstly, the windows face the main road, and even if you lock the windows tightly you can still hear some noise from passing vehicles. The walls between the rooms seemed too thin. In one of the rooms, there was a couple doing adult things at 5am. The screams were very clear and woke up my friends. We were helpless (we couldn't fall asleep anymore). It is recommended that everyone should not be too enthusiastic when planning to discuss, so as not to disturb the neighbors🤣🤣🤣

Very clean rooms and well prepared. The cleaners did a great job too.
4. Air Con and Amenities in the Room
Temperature controlled remote and good basic amenities for stay which is refilled during daily cleaning procedure when asked.
5. Laundry
They have a self-service laundry, which is very good and helpful. They even provide small amount of detergents for cleaner clothes.
The bonus is also the dryer machine that comes with it.
6. Check-out
Very quick and smooth.
7. Location
Good location which is near local shopping small if you want to do some small shopping or have a quick bite or tea/coffee break.
Feedback / Improvements for attracting more foreigners (Tourists) / Businesses (My opinion)
1. Basic/Simple English in front-desk would be helpful, but not important.
2. Translation on Laundry Instructions (self-service) can be helpful or pre-recorded video to help elderly or first-time visitors the correct procedures.
3. Restaurants to open not only for breakfast but option for different hours (such as afternoon/evening) but for short duration ordering time-period. Even though location is superb for local shopping mall, it would be great to experience afternoon/evening meal in the hotel and/or in-room dining services in the future (if it becomes popular).
4. Ironing board. There is a self service ironing but can be helpful to have an ironing board within the room, especially great experience with washing and drying clothes. However ironing clothes individually requires time and the ironing which is shared in the communal area can be time consuming if it is popular in demand during the time of use.
Overall, definitely superb hotel for the price and cleanliness. There is room for improvements but nevertheless, the experience and my stay there was nice.

HHuiExceptional apartment style rooms that is convenient and ofter all the amenities and tools you will need as a home away from home. Our one bedroom suite had on-suite washer and dryer (even hotel's at Hangzhou didn't have dryers), disher washer, fridge, and full stove/oven. All the dishes and detergent were provided and replenished daily. Housekeeping even did my dishes on days I left them in the sink! This hotel is conveniently situated at the city center of Kaiping and most things are within a short walking distance. I found this hotel after having stayed at and leaving another that was unacceptable. TingFeng Hotel staff was in the middle of giving their fourth floor a deep clean and I was able to witness first hand their pride of stewardship of this hotel. Not only did Reception ensure we had the exact room to meet our needs but they went over and above to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Special shout out to the exceptional leadership and great attitude of Cindy at the front desk. I was accompanying my elderly mother back to Kaiping to visit family and have not been back in Kaiping for over 20 years. Along with many of the other concierge staff she help to arrange much of our itinerary while in Kaiping. We felt very safe and secure with her reliability and responsiveness to our needs. Thank you, Cindy! You are truly exceptional and your level of service can be set as bar for any five star hotel world wide.

RRandy.ChungHeshan QuanZhi Hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious and well-lit lobby, combined with soft lighting, created a relaxing ambiance.
I stayed in a deluxe double room, which was stylishly decorated and comfortable. The large floor-to-ceiling windows allowed plenty of natural light to fill the room. The room was well-equipped with a flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a mini-bar. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The hotel offers a wide range of amenities. The fitness center is well-equipped and perfect for fitness enthusiasts. The indoor pool is the perfect place to relax after a long day. Additionally, the hotel has a restaurant and a bar, providing guests with plenty of dining options.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were efficient in checking me in, and the housekeeping staff were attentive to detail.
While the breakfast selection was not extensive, the quality was good. There were various types of bread, fresh fruits, salads, and made-to-order noodles, catering to different tastes.
The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the city center and major attractions.
There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. For example, the soundproofing in the rooms could be better, as I could occasionally hear noise from the hallway. Additionally, the hotel's parking lot can get crowded during peak hours.
Overall, Heshan QuanZhi Hotel is a great hotel. The comfortable accommodations, excellent amenities, and friendly service made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Heshan.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good! It is close to the surrounding attractions, especially the Zili Village and Liyuan, which is only 5 or 6 minutes by car. It is very convenient. This time I stayed with my family and stayed in a Zhenpin King Room with a bathtub and a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window. The night view is particularly beautiful. The room is spacious, and it is ok for a family of three to stay. The front desk service is good, the experience is good, and the free buffet breakfast has many varieties. The surrounding areas are all villages and fields. It is really convenient to have breakfast here. After eating, you can also go to the Pioneer Bookstore opposite. It is a bookstore worth checking in. It is very interesting.

GGuest UserThis hotel gave me a lot of surprises. I arrived at around 8 a.m. because I had a baby over one year old. Before booking, I called the hotel to ask if I could check in early. The staff helped me apply for early check-in. I later learned that my baby hadn’t eaten. Breakfast was given to us free of charge and delivered to the room. The key point was that it was delicious. My baby and I drank all the soup and they helped me carry my luggage. The baby was quite naughty and scattered snacks everywhere. Notifying the housekeeper, they immediately came to help clean up the bed. When they saw some dirt on the bed, they even offered to help us change the quilt cover. The security guard was also very enthusiastic and helped me push the stroller downhill. When leaving the store, he even ran out to help us reverse the car. Miss No. 05 is really very good at service and very gentle. She handles everything from phone inquiries to check-in. This is my first time in Heshan and I feel a strong sense of human touch!
