Find 2-Star Hotels in Goreme

Although it's not directly in the town, it's only about a 10-minute walk, so it's a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel has a more minimalist design, which I personally prefer over those flashy cave hotels.

We booked 3 rooms for the 8 of us (adults, kids under 10 and an elderly). The location of the hotel was strategic, at the entrance of the Gerome city, with the eateries/shop just a walk away. The rooms were clean, everything in place, heater is working and top notch in everything. The buffet breakfast were also delicious, varieties of local food (you have to order eggs from them to be cooked) and a selection of juices and hot drinks. Even more, it has balcony that you can use to see the hot balloon in the morning or rest at night. The booking is easier with trip.com and we settled our check in and out in less than 10mins. This hotel goes a bit more in making sure their guests are comfortable and that is commendable.

Building and room was clean and fancy. Staff was friendly. Building has a great view, it is also possible to watch balloons from the teras. Breakfast was good and more than enough. Hotel has also its own otopark. It takes 10 mins to reach goreme centre by walking and 2 mins by car.

The hosts for the accommodation are friendly and hospitable throughout the stay, they've arranged a day tour and balloon tour at a short notice due to inclement weather. In addition, I like that they replied to WhatsApp messages very promptly to ensure my concerns were being addressed. Do take note it's a guest house so don't expect hotel-like amenities such as daily breakfast and daily housekeeping, but the staff will do their best to ensure your stay is comfortable. Not all of them speak English fluently therefore might have some language barrier although Google translate helps somewhat :p I would like to stay with them again if I go back to cappadocia for vacation as they're arguably one of the best accommodations I've stayed at throughout my travels.

I'm not a shill, just a real experience from someone who isn't a rich traveler. Everyone's experience is different, so take this as a reference: Pros: 1. Located in the center of Göreme town, not far from the bus station and dining options. 2. Breakfast was quite substantial, and the service auntie was very enthusiastic. 3. Bedding was very clean. 4. WiFi was fast. Areas for improvement: 1. Avoid rooms facing the road; they are incredibly noisy. Keeping the windows closed makes it stuffy, and opening them is too loud, especially in the afternoon when the sun makes the room very hot. You can't open the windows because of the unbearable noise. 2. The hotel's customer service was slow to reply to emails. We sent two emails before our arrival, one asking if we could check in early, and received no response! We then sent another email asking if we could store our luggage at the front desk before going on a day tour, and still got no reply. In the end, we had to carry our luggage on the day tour. 3. The side views from the rooftop terrace are blocked, making it very inconvenient to watch the hot air balloons. I suggest removing the side panels.

Near the hotel, there are observatory, supermarkets and restaurants where balloons can be seen beautifully, and the location is good. The room is clean and the bath has hot water. The sound of the nearby restaurant can be heard with a relatively loud sound, but I am sleeping before I know it. If you can't sleep unless you are in a quiet room, you need to be careful.

Sevin Stone beautiful hotel in Gérem! Very successful location: is right in the city center, a lot of cafes, shops and Migros, all literally in a walk-in. I would like to note the hosts incredibly spiritual, responsive and very communicable people. They are sincerely trying to help the guests and have done for us even more than we could expect: helped solve the complex issue with lost baggage at the airport, for which we are very grateful to them. You feel like a guest here, not just a guest. We are happy to come back here again and we are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to travel to Cappadocia!

The hotel is well located. Near the center of Göreme, bus station, restaurants, shops and not far from the sites to visit. Also from agencies if needed to make tours even though the hotel can also book. The room was cleaned at least as you asked, no change of towels and soaps. I asked for a change of towels only once in 5 days and they didn't enter for anything else. If you were warned and you looked good, perfect, but we didn't know and asked. We use the washing service and well (plated, but not well folded and ploughed clothing). The room smells very moist but when it's inside a cave it can be normal. We put a little heating one day and it seems to have improved a little. It gave us an ambient too. Great room and huge bathroom with jacuzzi (but also smells bad). I had to sleep with an anti-fashion because the curtains are white and let the light pass (but if you don't care it is not very serious). The hotel is very friendly and helpful if you need it. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. Good terrace to see the balloons (it gives two different streets even though the top is in works).

I booked this cave hotel last minute to wait for the hot air balloon ride, and I was so surprised by how good the value for money was! The hotel is beautiful inside, every casual photo I took had a bit of an Egyptian vibe, haha. They even gave us a room with a terrace, which was really lovely, and sometimes little cats would come visit. Even though there's no air conditioning, Cappadocia in September is quite cool, and it was really comfortable with a gentle breeze coming through the open window.

A really lovely friendly hotel to stay. I had to ask to change rooms because of no internet in the cave room which I needed for work.This was no fuss, no trouble.And the owner even walked me to the bus stop carrying my bag rather than call a taxi on the day I left. My room was really comfortable and spacious and still in keeping with a cave hotel.A great hot shower. Breakfasts on the terrace were were delicious.....plenty of choice.This hotel is in the centre of Goreme town so location is superb for walking everwhere and also for tour pick ups.I would stay here again.Thanks Andrea.
