The room was great, and the owner was very attentive, even offering shuttle services. They patiently guided us. Staying inside Wuzhen offered beautiful views, and we could order takeout. Breakfast was also provided. It was very convenient being within the scenic area, and they treated guests very well.

The room type is great, the hotel is very bright and spacious, and the hygiene is also very good. The sound insulation effect is also very good. The front desk attitude is very good when checking in, and I will stay next time.

The location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll from Dongzha, Xizha, and Nanzha. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pharmacies, small supermarkets, and even massage spas – really convenient! The hotel reception also offers free stamps of Wuzhen attractions, which is a nice touch. To be honest, I'd never stayed in a guesthouse before, having only experienced 2-5 star hotels for business and leisure. Given that I have no guesthouse comparisons, and considering the price of just over a hundred yuan a night, here’s my review: First, soundproofing: The sound insulation between rooms and between the hallway and rooms is comparable to a standard hotel. Occasionally, I'd hear cars passing outside, but it wasn't overly noisy or disturbing. Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean, and as someone with sensitive skin, I had no issues during my three-night stay. The bathroom was also good, even providing disposable toilet seat covers, which is more comprehensive than most hotels! Service attitude: Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning was prompt. Knowing I was from the north, they reminded me to turn on the air conditioning upon entering the room, but early spring in Jiangnan was surprisingly cold, so I ended up asking for a second duvet on the second day. Facilities: While it's only a bit over a hundred yuan a night, and considering the accommodation quality, I shouldn't really nitpick, but I do want to mention one minor drawback: there was no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. 😥

If you're looking for a place where the host is incredibly warm-hearted – someone who looks after your every move, worries whether you're hungry, frets if you get caught in the rain or scorched by the sun – then this is the place to come. (I forgot to take some picture about room, but in general, like how it is on the hotel bio) The rooms still retain an old-world charm, perfectly matching the ancient town's beauty, and they're right by the river too. Of course, since it's an old town area, there are bound to be crowds, and a bit of noise from passersby is only to be expected. The car pickup/drop-off service and the Hanfu (traditional Chinese costume) rental are both very good. In short, whatever you need, the host has it – and whatever you're planning to do, it's always a good idea to ask the host first, because you'll always get great suggestions and extra-special care. The hotel is located near the North Gate entrance of Wuzhen, which is a much more beautiful and peaceful entrance compared to the main gate. Since it’s outside the Wuzhen scenic area, it’s also a good option if you want to stroll around the nearby street at night, where there are many shops. The hotel is inexpensive for its quality and the view it offers. This was my favorite hotel of the trip, the staff were very helpful and they even provided a shuttle to the bus station

For this price and location, cannot complain. Was quite content. Great location, rooms clean enough. It’s a family run property in an old town and old building, so please do not expect 5-star service.

It's alright, very cost-effective. It's convenient to host visiting friends since it's close to home. The surrounding area is also convenient, with small restaurants and fruit and snack shops nearby, and it's close to Juan Lake.
