"You can't go wrong with Hampton, and Jiaxing is truly beautiful this season! The hotel is located right next to Canal Park, and the drive in already put me in a good mood! There are several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but it's clear this area is quite desolate now. The two shopping malls next door look like ghost towns, and even the commercial strip downstairs has many closed stores. There are only two Comfortable Twin Rooms on each floor, and they are diagonally opposite each other. If you're traveling with a group, keep this in mind as you might not be on the same floor. I recommend booking the next room category up. The 'Comfortable' rooms only have two chairs and no sofa. No need to say much more about Hampton; anyone who's stayed there knows how good it is! The service was also excellent, especially the cleaning lady on the fifteenth floor – she was incredibly nice!"

"Out of all the hotels I stayed in during this Chinese New Year trip, this one was by far the most satisfying. The new renovations and overall feel were excellent. From the bedding to the color scheme of the room, everything felt very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to get such a great room for just 138 yuan on the fifth day of the ***** New Year! The hallways are lined with thick carpets, and the rooms are carpeted too, providing excellent soundproofing. It has central air conditioning, free parking, and even a smart toilet. Fantastic value for money!"

"The hotel is right in the Moon River Ancient Town and was much better than I expected. It was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was plentiful. Even during the May Day holiday, the prices didn't go up too much. The hotel itself is quite spacious, and the architecture within the hotel grounds, with its white walls and black tiles, blends in perfectly. It's also less crowded than the ancient town, making me feel like the hotel itself was more worthwhile than the town."

"The hotel is massive. As soon as you step inside, the spacious and bright lobby immediately catches your eye, with its grand and elegant decor. The service truly lives up to its five-star rating; from the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and professional attitudes. They proactively helped us with our luggage and guided us through the check-in process, which was efficient and seamless. Room service was also excellent; just a call to customer service, and staff would arrive promptly with a friendly demeanor. I also have to mention the hotel's environment. The landscaping is outstanding, with lush trees providing ample shade. We could access the South Lake scenic area just by scanning our room key, which my parents particularly loved. They couldn't stop praising it, saying they felt very comfortable staying here. Overall, whether it's the size, service, or environment, Nanhu Hotel is definitely worth the price. I'll certainly bring my parents back again; each season should offer a different experience."

The hotel is just 6km away from Jiaxingnan Railway Station. This hotel is located near many of Jiaxing's attractions including Nanhu Concert Hall, Linggongtang Culture Theme Park and Zhejiang Oriental Geological Museum (5th Floor, Zhonggang City). When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Came with my kids, and it's great for ordering takeout; the robot delivery is super convenient, and sometimes a staff member brings it, and their attitude is good. The environment is also pretty nice. The only downside is the breakfast buffet, which is really bad and has very few options. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, even on a Sunday, with plenty of empty seats when I went at 9 AM. I suggest adding some chicken nuggets, which kids love, or prawn crackers. Everything else was fine, but the floor is really slippery, so be careful. Shery provided excellent service, and I'd come back again. Yesterday, I saw penguins at Nanhu Tiandi and absolutely loved the 'Sui Yin Ji Liang' there. Anyway, it's better than the Four Points by Sheraton, where you have to go downstairs yourself to pick up takeout, and the air isn't as good, though it is a bit more value for money."

"The hotel is conveniently located near the Yaohan business district, with a riverside green belt right downstairs. It's also easy to access the expressway for trips to Puyuan and the South Station. The hotel rooms and hallways are quite spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Our room faced the interior, and although there were many AC units on the podium, we barely heard anything once the windows were closed. Even the sound of doors opening and closing in the hallway in the morning wasn't very noticeable. In terms of facilities, the two 1.5-meter beds are generally suitable for families traveling with older children. As it's a Four Points, it has all the essential amenities, but they are a more basic version. The male staff member in the blue suit in the lobby was very enthusiastic. When the young lady at the front desk wasn't sure about the location of the Zicheng historical site and Nanhu Lake, he overheard and proactively came over to provide more details. Thumbs up!👍🏻"

Step out of the lobby, cross a small bridge, and you're on the streets of Xizha. It's quick to go shopping, return to the hotel to rest, or take a boat. No need for much walking. --- ⭐ Room: Clean, comfortable, with thoughtful touches We stayed in the Signature King Room B, which requires taking stairs to the first floor (no elevator, so be aware if that's an issue). The room size is adequate; after placing our luggage, there was still plenty of space to move around, not cramped at all. The air conditioning is central, with four modes: off, low, medium, and hard. It's sufficient but not very precise. A thoughtful detail: The room includes mosquito repellent spray + electronic mosquito coils. It's a water town, so these are very practical. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable to stay in. --- ⭐ Check-in Process: Smooth, not difficult As instructed online: 1. Go to the Xizha Tourist Service Center to check in first. 2. While there, book the next day's 'zaochake' (morning tea session). 3. The entrance tickets were already included by the hotel, given directly to us. 4. Luggage would be delivered to the hotel. 5. We went into Xizha to stroll around first, then headed to the hotel. 6. Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, they arranged for facial recognition scanning, allowing us free entry and exit from the Xizha Scenic Area during our stay. The whole process was very clear and organized. --- ⭐ Zaochake (Morning Tea Session): Worth it, but book early We managed to book the zaochake (I heard there are only 200 free spots daily), so it's recommended to book early. The food served at the zaochake is prepared by the same chefs who make the famous snacks in Xizha – they finish making the zaochake food, then go to Xizha to open their stalls. So, if you've already booked the zaochake, there's really no need to queue specifically for those snacks in Xizha; it's the same food. --- ⭐ Dining: Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, went to a guesthouse instead We didn't eat at the hotel. Based on a recommendation from a staff member at the tourist center, we went to Guesthouse No. 1 inside Xizha for a private home-style meal. The price was reasonable, the food was delicious, and it was the most satisfying meal we had during our entire trip to China. --- ⭐ Overall Impression In one sentence: Comfortable, polite staff, unbeatable location, and the zaochake was a highlight. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuzhen and recommend it to friends.
