Our stay was unexpectedly great! We booked two rooms for four people and the owner upgraded both of them for us. He added us on WeChat beforehand to send us the address, and when we arrived, he was already waiting at the entrance to help us with parking. During check-in, he explained the local tourist routes around the town and the guesthouse, and recommended some fantastic local eateries. We tried them out and can confirm they were truly excellent recommendations! He even sent us the exact locations for each place and helped us rent electric scooters. The guesthouse is new, so the facilities and hygiene are top-notch. All in all, it was an amazing experience!

Very satisfied with the homestay, the front desk was very enthusiastic to take us in. It was a lady who also helped us carry our luggage. When we left, we watched us drive out safely. The service was in place. There was a fruit plate every day. Auntie saw that we liked to eat sunshine roses. We gave it to us, and the room was satisfied and quiet. Sleep well.

Accommodation conveniently located in a quiet street of old Jianshui. The owners have the sense of hospitality: they greet you with tea and fruits, they share grilled tofu with you. They are super friendly, speak Englisgh, are thoughtful and really willing to help. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Jianshui.

We had a truly enjoyable stay at this lovely homestay in Jianshui. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

The boss family is kind and friendly. At first, the children on the first floor arranged the room did not like it. Later, we directly upgraded the room type and lived on the 3rd floor. There was a balcony with our own. The proprietress must be a person who loves life. She planted a lot of meat on the balcony. She returned to the room at night to look at the scenery outside. It was a quiet and comfortable beauty. The children lived here very comfortably. I liked it.

Jianshui is also worth to go back many times, time stopped there and addicted to various rice noodles.

I love the homestay so much. Whether it's the decor or the toothbrush and bedding, you can see the owner's care and taste. We booked two rooms, a private bath and a slide room. The private bath room can relieve a day's fatigue, and the slide room can satisfy the children's joy. The location of the homestay is quiet in the bustling city and convenient for transportation. The owner is responsive, patient and gentle. I really enjoy chatting with the owner. It's really nice and makes me feel warm. When I left, it felt like I was leaving a friend's house. The inn is on the edge of the west gate, and the old house has been changed. This room is a bit small, 2 people live in a crowded room, the suitcase is not too spread, it should be the smallest one in the whole inn. The washing and shower room are outside the room, and the proprietress uses all the available space. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and talkative, helps with luggage, takes parking, and can book a room in the ancient city during the summer vacation is already lucky.

Clean hostel within walking distance of the old center. The owners are really nice and helpful, they even organized a small get-together with BBQ tofu and a movie.

I discovered a hidden gem of a new hotel in Jianshui! It's newly opened and there's absolutely no renovation smell. The lobby and public areas are elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all the facilities are brand new, including a smart toilet and high-speed Wi-Fi. The cleanliness is impeccable; there's no dust in the corners, the bedding is spotless, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, making it incredibly dry. There's ample free parking, making parking a breeze if you're driving. The rooms are excellently soundproofed, so it's quiet enough to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff are very friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. They even proactively shared Jianshui travel tips and upgraded me to a twin room with a projector. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui, and I've already recommended it to my friends!
