GGuest UserYou step into Fuzeyuan Guest House off a busy street and it is like an oasis of quiet and calm. The guest house is round an internal courtyard, open to the sky. On all 3 levels there are places to sit and relax - the roof level is particularly nice. Our rooms were very well appointed, with comfortable beds and nice showers. This is the owner's home, and the first night there was a bit of a party going on, so there was some noise till about midnight. The second night it was very calm and quiet. It's in a good position in the town, within walking distance of several tourist attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jianshui and in the guest house.

GGuest UserHighly recommended! The owner contacted me before I even checked in and sent me the exact parking location. Someone even picked me up from the parking lot. The staff were very welcoming, and there was welcome fruit every day. The room was also very clean and stylish. Bath bags and disposable toilet seat covers were provided free of charge, unlike some hotels that charge extra. The pillows were very comfortable. When I changed rooms later, the owner upgraded me for free. I was initially worried about soundproofing, but it was surprisingly quiet! They even provided umbrellas at the entrance, so I didn't have to worry about getting wet on rainy days. Overall, the service was very thoughtful.

GGuest UserWe had a truly enjoyable stay at this lovely homestay in Jianshui. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

GGuest UserSuper cozy yard very nice person quiet and large room, close to main street and very convenient to everywhere. Thanks for suggestions and helps from the elegant hostel lady, like went back home and saw your grandma and family. Jianshui is also worth to go back many times, time stopped there and addicted to various rice noodles.

GGuest UserI love the homestay so much. Whether it's the decor or the toothbrush and bedding, you can see the owner's care and taste. We booked two rooms, a private bath and a slide room. The private bath room can relieve a day's fatigue, and the slide room can satisfy the children's joy. The location of the homestay is quiet in the bustling city and convenient for transportation. The owner is responsive, patient and gentle. I really enjoy chatting with the owner. It's really nice and makes me feel warm. When I left, it felt like I was leaving a friend's house. I look forward to seeing you next time👍🏻

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is very conveniently located by the North Gate and in a smaller alley thereof, so it's not noisy at all. The decoration is beautiful, especially the inner court yard is very nice with lots of plants and flowers. The service is great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice with good amenities and nicely decorated. The only downside is that the windows to the courtyard can only be fastened through a shutter, so light and noise may still get in. Since it's an inner courtyard though, it's manageable. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants and Confucius' temple is not far. Would definetly come again!

GGuest UserThe B&B is right opposite Chaoyang Tower. During holidays, traffic is controlled and self-driving cars cannot enter during peak hours. You have to wait until the crowds have left in the evening before you can enter. The section of road from Lin'an Station to the B&B is all on uneven stone roads. It is quite physically demanding to carry the suitcases by yourself. The one we stayed in was the Goldfish Room, which is relatively cheap and has a wooden structure with a tile roof. The boss said that it faces the street and may not have good sound insulation. In fact, we were too tired to listen to the sounds outside and fell asleep directly. The boss has two residences. The Goldfish House does not have a courtyard. You can enter directly into the lobby to settle in. The other one has a courtyard and the scenery is very good.

GGuest UserI discovered a hidden gem of a new hotel in Jianshui! It's newly opened and there's absolutely no renovation smell. The lobby and public areas are elegantly designed, the rooms are spacious and bright, and all the facilities are brand new, including a smart toilet and high-speed Wi-Fi. The cleanliness is impeccable; there's no dust in the corners, the bedding is spotless, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, making it incredibly dry. There's ample free parking, making parking a breeze if you're driving. The rooms are excellently soundproofed, so it's quiet enough to sleep soundly through the night. The front desk staff are very friendly and quick with check-in and check-out. They even proactively shared Jianshui travel tips and upgraded me to a twin room with a projector. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Jianshui, and I've already recommended it to my friends!
