"I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable.
The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special.
This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time.
I will definitely recommend this homestay to others and hope to visit again in the future.

"The inn is right next to Zhu Family Garden. There are places to eat downstairs, and it's very close to every tourist attraction. The owner and his family are very nice, there is a pick-up service, and there is a place to drink tea in the lobby. There are more than two bottles of bottled water in the room, you can get them at the front desk. My family of six consumes several bottles a day. When we went out to play in the rain, the owner's mother was so thoughtful to collect all the clothes we had hung outside. It was a great stay. I will stay at your house again if I have the chance, and I will also recommend it to my friends!"

"This was the second stop on our self-driving trip through Southern Yunnan and, hands down, my favorite hotel of the entire journey. Much of the wonderful impression Jianshui left on me can be attributed to Fuyali Hotel.
**Cleanliness:** The hotel was spotless and impeccably tidy.
**Location:** The geographical location is absolutely superb, right inside the North Gate of Jianshui Ancient City. It's incredibly convenient for dining, catching a taxi, or exploring the area by car. A huge bonus is its dedicated private parking lot.
**Service:** The staff were wonderfully warm, welcoming, and exceptionally attentive throughout our stay."

"It’s a cool spring night with a gentle breeze on your face. Sitting by the window, the treetops are dancing outside the window, and the birds are singing melodiously by the lake. It’s peaceful and quiet, and I fall asleep peacefully. The boss is warm and service-oriented, the interior is newly decorated, the bedding is clean, it is quiet and comfortable, the sound insulation is good, and you can sleep without worries. "The hotel's location is superb, right by the South Gate. Xiaobo BBQ and Huangji Rolled Rice Noodles are just a few minutes' walk away, offering easy access to all attractions within the ancient city.
The hotel itself boasts a unique architectural style, featuring antique wooden structures. The corridors and courtyard are thoughtfully decorated, and the rooms are spotless. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive; upon check-in, we were immediately offered welcome fruits and snacks, and she proactively provided a Jianshui travel guide and a local food map. Any questions we had were promptly addressed, showcasing truly excellent service!
The hotel's breakfast was delicious. The 'caoya' rice noodles were incredibly fresh and savory, and the sweet potatoes were exceptionally sweet. While the selection wasn't extensive, every dish was fresh and delicious. Waking up and enjoying a steaming bowl of 'caoya' chicken soup rice noodles by the small attic window, with beautiful views, was the perfect start to the day!"

"Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped, with disposable toiletries and towels, and separate washrooms and toilets.
Cleanliness: The bedding was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean.
Environment: The hotel's interior was very comfortable. Although not a chain, the decor, service, and amenities were far superior to those of hotels like Yaduo.
Service: The hotel staff were very welcoming, and the ”Goods Box” was a thoughtful touch, containing two items I needed urgently.
Other: There's a pick-up service from Jianshui High-Speed Railway Station, welcome fruit, and a mini-refrigerator with drinks and cookies. The popular Xiaoshujiao BBQ restaurant is just a 5-minute walk away.
My only negative point is that the hotel's cost is triple the normal rate during holidays, and there are no e-scooters for rent nearby."

"It's a hostel with a very homely environment. The manager will invite you to drink tea with him, the courtyard is a very chill area to hang out in and even spend all day to the sound of flowing water and surrounded by plants. There is a kitchen available too, and the manager brings water from the well daily for the use of the guests. The dorm was comfortable and the lower beds have curtains but the upper ones don't.
The manager sometimes organises events for the guests, such as the time when we went picking mushrooms and visited a local market from where we bought more mushrooms which were cooked for dinner, all at a very good price.
The location is excellent, just 1 minute walking to the south gate of the ancient city.
I will not hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Jianshui."

I booked a room on a business trip. As someone who's always on the go, breakfast is incredibly important. I was surprised by how well this hotel met my needs. As someone who works out every day and drinks coffee, I finally had the freedom to enjoy coffee. The coffee was delicious, with a genuine flavor. There was also a wide variety of fruit, and the breakfast was comprehensive and diverse. This hotel perfectly met my needs. The staff was excellent, the facilities and amenities were high-end, and the cleanliness was excellent. The sheets and duvet covers fit snugly, making for a great sleep. I'll definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness: There was only one staff member cleaning, which must have been quite a lot of work, but overall the cleanliness was acceptable.
Environment: The overall environment was very nice, with a unique decor and red brick floors, showing the owner's attention to detail.
Service: Someone picked us up from the hotel parking lot and helped with our luggage, which was very kind of them. They even provided welcome fruit. The owner also recommended some good restaurants in the area.

GGuest UserLooking at the online evaluation, I chose Fanqi B&B. On the morning of submitting the order, I received a call from the store to inform the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night. The small door face entered the house but there was no cave. The quadruple courtyard has a history of 100 years. The store was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us and introduced the historical story of the small courtyard, and provided us with attractions and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom are also very clean, the hot water temperature is also very high, and the breakfast is very rich. Provided according to our requirements, The homestay also provides free Hanfu for taking pictures and barbecue. There are not many tourists traveling on the staggered peaks and found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey.

The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture.
Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui.

The private bath room can relieve a day's fatigue, and the slide room can satisfy the children's joy. The location of the homestay is quiet in the bustling city and convenient for transportation. The owner is responsive, patient and gentle. I really enjoy chatting with the owner. It's really nice and makes me feel warm. When I left, it felt like I was leaving a friend's house. It is located in a small alley beside the east gate of the ancient city. It has easy access and convenient transportation, which is much more convenient than living inside the ancient city. The beautiful boss and her mother are thoughtful and enthusiastic. They take the initiative to pick up and drop off guests and help with luggage, recommend food and travel guides to guests, contact them for shopping and car rentals, provide a lot of convenience, and solve many practical problems for guests. Every time I come back from a trip, seeing the smiling faces of the boss and his mother and hearing their greetings makes me feel the warmth of home. The room is fully equipped, clean, and well-planned. The mattress is very comfortable and the toilet is smart, making it very comfortable to live in. It can be seen that the boss is very dedicated to his work. The daily breakfast is diverse and well-matched. I have been traveling for a month and this is the most satisfying stay. I extended my stay twice.

GGuest UserAt the end of the May Day holiday, I took my parents and children to stay at Jianshui Langshe Inn. The experience was great! The inn yard is super beautiful and the layout is exquisite. It makes people feel comfortable as soon as they step in, and the photos are also super photogenic. The room is newly renovated, clean and tidy, with all kinds of facilities, and it is safe and comfortable to live in. The boss is hospitable and the service is thoughtful and meticulous, which makes people feel like spring breeze. The meal breakfast provided by the inn is nutritious and delicious, starting a vibrant day. What's more worth mentioning is that the inn is in a very good location. It is right in the ancient city, which is very convenient for travel. The kitchen is fully equipped. Next to it is the vegetable market. We bought fresh ingredients to cook by ourselves and enjoy the fun of cooking. Adults and children are very satisfied with this stay. It is highly recommended to friends who want to relax and vacation in Jianshui!

NNoThe hotel's location is very conveniently located by the North Gate and in a smaller alley thereof, so it's not noisy at all. The decoration is beautiful, especially the inner court yard is very nice with lots of plants and flowers. The service is great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice with good amenities and nicely decorated. The only downside is that the windows to the courtyard can only be fastened through a shutter, so light and noise may still get in. Since it's an inner courtyard though, it's manageable. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants and Confucius' temple is not far. Would definetly come again!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, with convenient parking. Hanlin Street is just downstairs, and it's surprisingly quiet, making it incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, and they even ensured it was a non-smoking room for us. It was well-equipped, and the friendly lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with our laundry. Enjoying the ancient city views from the hotel was delightful, making it an ideal spot for hosting friends. Breakfast was plentiful, and the afternoon tea was exquisite. The service staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.
