Facilities: Very satisfactory tatami bed, very easy to find on the roadside, and next to the Jianshui train station, super convenient!!! Environment: The hotel is on the roadside, but the courtyard is quiet and elegant, and taking photos inside is also very good. If it is not a holiday, I feel that I can live in the courtyard for a month. Our room is close to the street. There is no sound when the window is closed, and you can hear the lively hawking downstairs when the window is opened. The a**osphere of life is strong Service: The boss's recommendations to us are not bad, and the breakfast rolls at the homestay are really delicious! ! ! Regret running out to eat on the first day (˵¯͒〰¯͒˵) The boss also helped us carry the luggage upstairs and sent us to the high-speed rail station. It was very considerate. I was afraid of being upset when traveling during holidays. The homestay I chose was so good that I wanted to stay for two more days (unfortunately there are not so many holidays). Jianshui is really suitable for long-term stays and slow relaxation

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. It is delicious, delicious, and comfortable to live in. Living here is cultural. My stay at Daoli Homestay in Jianshui was excellent, and I highly recommend it. The homestay is conveniently located right next to the Seventeen-Arch Bridge; you can walk to attractions with great scenery without having to travel far. The facilities were complete and easy to use. The homestay was new and comfortable. It was very clean, even the floor was spotless. The landlady was incredibly welcoming. Not only was she friendly, but she also meticulously helped us with our travel planning, clearly explaining which places to visit and how to get there, saving us a lot of time and hassle. Knowing that one of our companions has diabetes, she thoughtfully prepared extra multigrain porridge, which was very touching. We drove there, and the homestay has parking and charging stations, which is especially convenient for electric vehicles – a huge plus. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant stay. I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. Amazing accommodation, clean big bed and super comfortable, great location from ancient town. Host is super helpful and lovely, spoke some English and suggested some great places for us to eat and visit. Breakfast is traditional and delicious. 10/10 . Highly, highly recommended hidden gem in Jianshui! This hotel is a true urban oasis. I travel to Jianshui frequently, and this is by far the most satisfying stay I've had!!! The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The front desk and concierge staff were exceptionally thoughtful, and even the cleaning aunties were polite and well-mannered – truly five-star hotel standards. Leading up to the Mid-Autumn Festival, the front desk even prepared Yunnan-style ham mooncakes for guests, which my friends, colleagues, and I found very heartwarming due to their considerate, attentive, and thoughtful service. I highly recommend everyone choose this hotel. This stay exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were friendly, check-out was quick, and any requests were promptly addressed. The surrounding area offers convenient access to food, drinks, and transportation. Overall, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended. I'll definitely prioritize staying here on my next trip.

A truly delightful stay! This stay was a complete surprise! The hotel completely changed my perception of traditional hotels. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the immense care put into every detail. In terms of hardware facilities, the modern design of the public areas made me feel very comfortable and sophisticated, with no hint of being outdated. The in-room facilities were very complete and comfortable, especially the mattress – it was just the right firmness with excellent support, allowing me to lie down and relax completely, ensuring a super comfortable night's sleep. The whole environment was decorated very warmly, giving a 'welcome home' feeling as soon as you entered. The service experience was an even bigger bonus. Every staff member had a kind smile, and their service was incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel respected and valued. Overall, this is a hotel with a beautiful environment and excellent service. I highly recommend it to all travelers seeking quality!

We actually came back to this hotel for a second stay after visiting the terraces, which says a lot about the overall experience. The location is fantastic, very close to the old town and right by a lovely lake, making it really special. The girls at reception are also incredibly kind and helpful, even if they don’t speak English, they do their best using a translator. Cleanliness was decent but could be improved a bit. We would recommend choosing a higher-category room, as the basic ones feel a bit outdated and less comfortable. Overall, a great stay mainly thanks to the amazing location and the kindness of the staff.

We booked a mini double room and at the reception they made sure we liked it before giving it to us. In reality, despite being a mini double room, the room was spacious, with all the necessary amenities. We found everything we needed for the shower and hygiene. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect. Chinese-style buffet breakfast, although at the reception we were told it was an international cuisine. The location of the hotel is perfect for those travelling by train (15 minutes by bus from the station) and is a 20-minute walk from the historic centre. I absolutely recommend it!

A person came to Jianshui and went to the high-speed rail to set the room. After getting off the high-speed rail, the boss personally came to pick up the station and introduced the attractions and food. The room is clean and hygienic, and the bathroom is also equipped with a disposable toilet cover, which is very intimate. There is nothing to do, drink tea and chat downstairs, and the boss prepares fresh fruit every day. This homestay is very cost-effective, and I will choose this one next time I come to Jianshui.
