The environment is super good. The inn is an old house, very beautiful. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and contacted us one day in advance to tell us how to check in. The breakfast is delicious, with a lot of variety and very satisfying. I don't want to go out when I stay in the inn. I can stay for a day and it's very comfortable.

It should be said that the decoration of the hotel took a lot of effort, but there are still many flaws in management: 1. The flow of guests of the hotel rooms and the restaurant for external operation are mixed together. The guests who eat can go upstairs directly to the guest rooms as soon as they turn around, which poses a safety hazard. 2. When eating breakfast, you need to pass the restaurant downstairs. I saw that the waiter was still sorting out the leftovers of the guests last night, which made me feel bad. 3. After the air conditioner was turned on for one night, there was a smell of sewer in the room in the morning. Later, the hotel used a deodorant in the bathroom floor drain to improve it, but as a high-end boutique hotel, such a situation should not occur. 4. The hotel is very close to the residence, and I was woken up by the sound of the blower in the morning. I hope the hotel can improve its management level.

I stayed here when I came here in January this year. The location is very good. Just across the road is the north gate of Jianshui Ancient City, so I stayed here again when I came with my friends this time. The hotel room is quite large, with many tables for putting things, sofas, separate wet and dry bathrooms, and a large space, as well as a full-length mirror. The staff is also very good and the service is very thoughtful, especially Tang Ting, Li Sidi, and Yao Yun. I would like to praise them here. Unfortunately, Yinghui Road is very congested during the Spring Festival, so you have to drive early in the morning and late at night. The inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

I rushed to Jianshui from Pu'er on the second day of the Chinese New Year. I booked a room just before I arrived. I was very lucky to book such a beautiful homestay. The design of the courtyard and the decoration of the house showed that the owner had put a lot of thought into it. It was not just to open an inn to make some money. He put a lot of thought into many places, such as the cushions on the chairs in the room, the door locks, the big wardrobe, and every plant and scenery in the yard were very beautiful. A friend has stayed at this hotel before. The location is very good and the walk in the ancient city is very comfortable. Before coming, because it is in the ancient city, I was afraid that it would be difficult to find it. I contacted the hotel in advance and chose to pick up the station. The breakfast lady prepares freshly ground soy milk every day (drink it yourself). In addition to coarse grains and eggs, there are also rice noodles and rice noodles. They are different every day. GGuest UserLooking at the online evaluation, I chose Fanqi B&B. On the morning of submitting the order, I received a call from the store to inform the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night. The small door face entered the house but there was no cave. The quadruple courtyard has a history of 100 years. The store was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us and introduced the historical story of the small courtyard, and provided us with attractions and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom are also very clean, the hot water temperature is also very high, and the breakfast is very rich. Provided according to our requirements, The homestay also provides free Hanfu for taking pictures and barbecue. There are not many tourists traveling on the staggered peaks and found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey.

TTanWLI wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable.
The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special.
This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time.

The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

GGuest UserThe B&B is right opposite Chaoyang Tower. During holidays, traffic is controlled and self-driving cars cannot enter during peak hours. You have to wait until the crowds have left in the evening before you can enter. The section of road from Lin'an Station to the B&B is all on uneven stone roads. It is quite physically demanding to carry the suitcases by yourself.
The one we stayed in was the Goldfish Room, which is relatively cheap and has a wooden structure with a tile roof. The boss said that it faces the street and may not have good sound insulation. In fact, we were too tired to listen to the sounds outside and fell asleep directly.
The boss has two residences. The Goldfish House does not have a courtyard. You can enter directly into the lobby to settle in. The other one has a courtyard and the scenery is very good.

YYunyousihaiBGA large family booked 4 rooms for two nights and stayed at his house in Jianshui Ancient City. It just wrapped up the small courtyard. The environment was antique, the boss was warm and upright, the room was clean, and the family was very satisfied and comfortable. I was doing the hotel industry, not worse than high-star hotels. Therefore, it must be seriously commented. The next day, mineral water, toothbrushes, and disposable toilet traps were all refilled, and they took the initiative to ask if they needed cleaning. The main environment is really good. The decoration details can be seen. In the evening, the boss took the initiative to put the seat in the small courtyard and we had a rest and chat. Next time we have the opportunity to go to Jianshui, we must live here again.

GGuest UserIf you drive to Jianshui, you don't have to choose a place near the ancient city. There is free parking near the ancient city. This hotel is about 2 kilometers away from the ancient city and the purple pottery night market by car. It's very close, not on the main road. I live on the 4th floor next to the road. I can't hear the sound of cars when I close the windows at night. It's quite quiet. You can park in front of the hotel, but the parking spaces are limited. However, the security guard can guide you to park for free on the nearby roadside, which is very convenient. The ladies at the front desk are very sweet and cute, enthusiastic, patient and meticulous. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is particularly warm and thoughtful in providing the services shown in my photos. The only thing is that the breakfast is average, with not much content, but it is enough.

RRafael SapioI enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The environment was great, both from the staff and the guests. Really made me, the only foreigner, feel comfortable among them. Also very close to the best value noodles place I have yet found in SE Asia, and to the Ancient Town, and provided a good value bike rental (very solid bike). Riding it along the ancient train itinerary was her highlight of my Jianshui visit.

Take the number 18 bus from the station. Get off at 永祯路口（建水大道) 站.
Be aware that the budget rooms are downstairs on the ground floor, where the bathroom drains smell and where the downstairs lounge area is, so you get the noise of guests laughing and joking at midnight.
If you qualify with Trip.com for a late checkout, they won't give you one because it's against their policy - so Trip benefits are a waste of time really.
But the hotel is generally good and the staff are friendly.
