EEatPrayTravelAll staff members, from manager, front desk lady and the cleaning team were all very helpful and super friendly, which made our stay very pleasant. The location of the hotel is very close to the falls, making it very convenient to visit. Since it was slow season when we were there, the hotel manager was able to provide courtesy drop off and pick up service to the waterfalls which was very much appreciated. Room was very spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. Water pressure was perfect making bath time feel like a treat! We were allocated a room facing the mountains and the view was very beautiful, especially at sunset, one can sit back and enjoy the magic hour. Lovely stay!!

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

The bathroom is equipped with smart toilets and squat pits, giving you more choices. When you open the door, you will see a beautiful mountain view and an excellent viewing rooftop. You can experience taking pictures of the scenery in the hotel. The location is also very convenient for transportation. Across the road is the famous Shiwei Restaurant, and there is a rental car next door for easy travel and return. The proprietress is very gentle and provides attentive service. She also provides free bonfire party tickets.

The bed in the house was very big and the chair by the window was very comfortable. After the tour, Ge You sat down at the floor-to-ceiling glass window and lay down.
The hotel is on the road leading to the scenic spot, so I thought it would be busy. After checking in, I found it to be quite quiet. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and attentive, and reminded us to bring water to Detian Waterfall.

LLisaIt's right inside the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk from the ticket gate. I especially loved the room with the large terrace! The hostess was very welcoming and even helped me get discounted tickets. She even has a restaurant at her house. If you're driving, you can drive to the scenic area entrance and book a room with the hotel, which will waive the several dozen yuan shuttle bus fee from the visitor center to the entrance. Parking is charged in the village, however.

Mingshi countryside is so beautiful. I really want to go back to the place where the fields are! This homestay is clean, spacious and comfortable with a beautiful environment! There are bicycles and electric cars for rent downstairs, which are affordable. There are many farmhouses around for eating. I recommend everyone to go to Heji, which tastes especially delicious!
