It's clear the owner puts a lot of thought and effort into every detail. The room even had a dehumidifier with a built-in clothes rack above it – perfect for drying laundry in just a few hours after washing! **Environment:** The design is fantastic, beautifully laid out with a charming, multi-layered feel. It's perfectly situated in the heart of the ancient city, with all the scenic spots within walking distance. For transportation, it's just a minute's walk to the Kaiyuan Road/Yi'an Road intersection where you can easily hail a taxi. Even better, the owner can arrange a taxi for you, which will pick you up right at the guesthouse entrance – incredibly convenient. **Service:** The service was exceptional! The owner even helped us with our luggage. We were offered traditional Gongfu tea, and the owner enthusiastically shared insights, like how 'Duck **** Fragrance' tea from Pingkengtou, Fenghuang Mountain, is considered the finest from its original source. They also provided a Chaozhou map, added us on WeChat to send a comprehensive food guide, and gave patient, detailed explanations for everything."

"Located in the Chaozhou Ancient Town area. It's easily accessible from the bus stop, but it's also located at the back of an alley so it's quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable, but some parts of the building itself have retained their old look in a good way, making it a wonderful place to enjoy tea in a pleasant environment. On the desk, a guestbook offered poignant stories of joy and sorrow, truly a delightful discovery! By the bed, a photo album titled 'Old Images of Chaozhou' provided inspiration to explore. You could follow its historical cues to visit Tianning Temple, witness the unique 'bridge dismantling' of Guangji Bridge, or ascend to Han Gong Ancestral Temple on the opposite bank to learn about Han Yu's profound influence on the local culture. For those who appreciate quiet, ancient charm, Jiadi Lane is a must-stroll. And of course, don't miss the culinary delights of Chaozhou Ancient City! The host thoughtfully provided recommendations for various meals and snacks – make sure to sample as many as you can if you have time. A highly appreciated feature was the washing machine available on-site. Plus, there was a convenient spot near the in-room air conditioning unit to dry clothes – a true lifesaver for summer visits to Chaozhou, allowing you to wash and wear fresh outfits daily. I returned home refreshed and look forward to visiting again soon!"

"The inn is located in the ancient city of Chaozhou, and it only takes 3 minutes to walk to the archway street. It should be noted that the gate of the inn is at the entrance of the alley, so if you take a taxi, you can only go to the main road and walk for 5 minutes to arrive. "This trip to Chaoshan was all about appreciating ancient architecture, and staying at the Zaiyang Old Residence, which dates back to the mid-Qing Dynasty (around 250 years old!), was absolutely magical. It's been thoughtfully restored, with every corner exuding historic charm, yet it's perfectly practical. I was especially impressed by the shower: unlimited hot water and unbelievably powerful pressure – the stream was so strong it could almost make the showerhead bounce! 😂 I couldn't have been happier with that."
