The front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room to a higher level. The space for making tea is larger. The overall facilities of the room are still relatively simple. The price is a bit worth it. The safety facilities are also lacking. The window sill is very low but there are no safety protection measures. It comes with a disposable water cup. Ask the front desk for disposable slippers and plastic film for the bath. After soaking in the water, your body feels a little smoother. The water quality is not bad.

This is the second time I have stayed. All the facilities in the room are complete. There is also heating, because the weather is too cold, but the heating seems to be useless, I don't know if the air conditioner is not strong, or the room is too big. The boss is considerate and enthusiastic, and provides guides for playing and eating. Seeing that my family has difficulty walking, he took the initiative to provide wheelchairs for free. When leaving the hotel, he also helped to contact a taxi to the hotel entrance. Generally, taxis are parked outside the bamboo and wooden door. The hotel is very clean, the bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the smart toilet, the bath towels are clean, and the drinking water is also sufficient. GGuest UserWe are tourists from Malaysia and Singapore, coming to Chaozhou to visit relatives and travel. The owner of Xiashuimen Inn is enthusiastic and pays attention to the needs of the guests. The boss and the proprietress are very talkative and often invite guests to enjoy Chaozhou work tea. Patiently answer and provide practical advice to guests on attractions and routes. The children of the host couple have a talent for calligraphy, and the family attaches great importance to the inheritance of Chaozhou cultural traditions.
It is recommended to come to Chaozhou for a few days, live in Shangxiashuimen Inn, make friends with the boss and the proprietress, go around the ancient city, feel the inherent humanities and monuments of the Fucheng, it is definitely worthwhile!

Hygiene: Overall clean and simple.
Environment: Lake view environment with large glass windows, bright lighting, you can see large clouds and the green shade of West Lake Park.
Service: If you really can’t walk, it’s very convenient to order takeout delivered to your room. We didn't ask for room cleaning on the second day. When we were leaving, the front desk made sure to confirm again, which was quite thoughtful. There is hot drink Luo Han Guo tea at the front desk. It is strongest in the morning and tastes slightly worse in the evening.

BBelinda A.It is a gorgeous century old property designed in a traditional Teochew architecture. Much of the original fixtures are still intact. It was unfortunate that it rained continuously during my stay or I would have loved to have some tea in the courtyard. The bed was comfortably hard (which I liked). Hot water broke down on the second day due to a short circuit but was quickly rectified. Owner is helpful even during wee hours. While located on a quiet street, it is within minutes from the bustle. Definitely highly recommend this gem.

DDavidThe location right next to the main street of the city with a little park for our room was fantastic. We had a family room with a double bed and two large bunk beds. The bunk beds were a bit hard for the west. The room had a nice balcony with view on the backyard, right next to the buddhist temple.

SSuree ChanHotel was located in the best location, very easy to move around, all the attractions and restaurants were around in the walking distance. Staff of hotel was very friendly, very helpful.
Room and amenities were superb.
The only complaint about this hotel is no elevator so it was quite difficult for group members as all of us are over 70+ years old.
