There was a minor incident during my stay, but it was promptly and appropriately handled thanks to the timely communication and intervention of the staff, especially the duty manager, Wendy. Her handling of the situation demonstrated excellent customer service professionalism: strong service awareness, great communication skills, clear direction, promptness, decisiveness, and genuine sincerity. The check-in was handled by a short-haired lady named KK (my eyesight isn't great, so I couldn't clearly see her name tag. Please excuse me if I got the name wrong). She was super gentle and had an excellent attitude, making the check-in process incredibly smooth.
The hotel room was spacious, very new, and spotless. I bet the view would be amazing if the weather were good 👍.
The absolute highlight has to be the gym – all the equipment is Technogym! That's impressive.

"The past few days in Chaozhou have been scorching, with temperatures at 36°C and a 'feels like' temperature of 43°C – absolutely sweltering! The hotel thoughtfully provided an extra power card, so every time I returned drenched in sweat from exploring, the best part was being greeted by a blast of cold air and a chilled bottled water from the mini-fridge – pure bliss! The reception area also had a fridge stocked with plenty of complimentary bottled water, which was a very nice touch. Inside the room, there were some local Chaoshan snacks, which were quite tasty. When I inquired where to buy them, the hotel even had an auntie bring us more to sample – I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about 100 meters from Kaiyuan Temple, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions like the Ancient City, Guangji Bridge, and Xima Road. I even walked to Guangji Bridge three times in one day and didn't feel tired. There are also plenty of food options and souvenir shops nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pillows were very comfortable. The lovely ladies at reception and the cleaning aunties were all very warm and provided excellent service. Because the heat was so unbearable, I decided last minute to have lunch at the snack shop right next door. I ordered Chaozhou braised platter rice and pig offal kway teow, and to my surprise, they were incredibly delicious – tasting just like traditional home-cooked Chaozhou food. The pig offal kway teow had a light flavor, and for only 15 yuan, it was packed with ingredients; adding black vinegar elevated the taste even further. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!"

"First off, the location is truly unbeatable – super close to all the attractions, making getting around a breeze, and the service was pretty good. From a distance, the new Chinese-style decor in the rooms and hallways looks quite stylish. However, you really can't look too closely at the room's interior design. Up close, the craftsmanship looks cheap and tacky. That headboard design seriously baffles me; it's incredibly outdated. The bathroom design isn't bad though; the toilet is smart, but the sink counter was full of water stains, probably the kind that can't be cleaned off. The sealant around the basin was roughly applied, and the overall detail work is poor. Same goes for the TV cabinet area; the caulking job was terrible, the details are just unacceptable. For over 400 a night, it felt more like a 200-dollar hotel. If you don't mind the decor and minor cleanliness imperfections, and just want convenience for sightseeing, then it's an option to consider. Chaozhou's attractions are concentrated, and taxis aren't expensive.
The hotel is right across from Paifang Street, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. You can easily visit several major attractions in one day. 1) Location is superb. Right smack in the ancient city and 50m from the landmark guangji gate. You can walk everywhere to do your visits and taste street food & other gourmets . You can even get on a trishaw & do a slow sightseeing of the city among the interesting streets outside the non-traffic square
2) hotel is new about 6 months old. Clean and full amenities . The bed is comfortable and good. We are not familiar with the light switches so had trouble switching to dim lights at night
3) there’s a lift and a laundry area downstairs
4) service is perfect . Our room came with breakfast. Breakfast is simple and fresh and wholesome . Well in chaozhou you probably wanna skip to eat the yummy snacks on the street. We had breakfast for 2 days. On the last day we skipped. We slept in till breakfast time was over. We had bought a rice dumpling and a rice snack the day before. We requested for them to heat up. They went beyond our expectations. Not only heat up, but gave us fresh fruits all serve properly on a tray like room service. Thank you
5) we booked a one bedroom suite on level 2. Ceilings are high. Room is airy. Soundproofing is good. Once the windows are closed. There’s minimal noise from street outside. By night 10pm it’s quiet . Morning noises only start around 9am plus from tourists foot traffic
6) Tip- as traffic are not allowed on that street. The nearest point is to get off at the Xia shui men (下水门） gate and enter the gate. From there you walk about 100-150m on flat well-tiled surfaces to the hotel
7) hope the hotel maintains their cleanliness & newness moving forward .

shirleylalaNo wonder this B&B was a filming location for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala; it truly lives up to its perfect reviews! The experience was fantastic. It's centrally located in Chaozhou Ancient City, making both transportation and parking incredibly convenient. We parked at the Kaiyuan parking lot, and it was just a one-minute walk to the inn. The owner was exceptionally thoughtful, offering tips and recommendations for food, drinks, and activities throughout our stay – all of their local suggestions were spot-on. The old courtyard house has a charming, ancient vibe, and our room was clean and refreshing with complete amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The 'Qingmei Pavilion' duplex room was spacious with plenty of beds and excellent audio-visual facilities, offering incredible value for money. This B&B is a ancestral home from the Ming Dynasty, with attention to detail evident everywhere. It's also a benchmark for fire safety, making us feel very secure during our stay. The surrounding alleys are bustling with local life, and you can stumble upon delicious specialty foods around every corner. Strolling through the ancient courtyard dressed in Nyonya attire made for beautiful, atmospheric photos.

Guest UserMy best friend and I spontaneously decided to visit Chaozhou, and we booked this guesthouse on the same day. It's right in the heart of the ancient city's Paifang Street, making it super convenient to get everywhere. Parking was easy too, just a few minutes' walk from a lot about 500 meters away. The guesthouse itself has excellent facilities, and everything is very tastefully done. The staff were warm and attentive, and the place was spotless. Honestly, the whole experience was even better than a five-star hotel. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem of a hotel!!!
It's in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, not directly on the main road. There are lots of great local eateries nearby; the hotel's recommendations for food stalls were especially reliable and delicious! It's about a 10-minute taxi ride to the scenic spots, and ride-sharing services are readily available.
It's a standalone property with convenient parking! The hotel is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and the room size is good. The breakfast is rich and high-quality, especially the kway teow noodles! 😘

Guest UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations, so I have to give it a big thumbs up!
First off, the hotel's facilities are incredibly comprehensive and smart. The room was spacious and bright, and the mattress was soft and comfortable – lying on it instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, with hot water coming out quickly and with strong pressure, making a hot shower incredibly refreshing.
As for hygiene, it was absolutely impeccable. As soon as I walked in, I noticed a faint, pleasant scent – absolutely no strange odors. I specifically checked the bedsheets and duvet covers, and they were pristine white, flat, and spotless. The bathroom corners and sink were also sparkling clean. As someone with germaphobia, I felt extremely comfortable and completely at ease during my stay.
Finally, I have to commend the service. Front desk attendant #8 greeted me with a constant smile, processed my check-in quickly, and even thoughtfully recommended local eateries. The housekeeping staff also warmly greeted me whenever we met and responded to my requests very promptly.
In summary, both the hardware and software were faultless, and the value for money was exceptional. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

Guest User1. Location of hotel was excellent. Nearest to 廣济门 gate. Hotel easy to find - enter Guangjimen gate and immediately turn right. You will pass by 天后宫 temple and just walk straight for another 5 mins and you will see sign post of hotel on the left side.
2. Hotel door and lobby has ”back to the past” feel and blends in well with the overall environment of Chaozhou. You can see Guangji Bridge on the roof terrace of hotel, a good spot to watch the 8pm light show though may be blocked by some trees in front if you are not particular.
3. Great welcome from host, 南姜 who was really helpful and she provided us many tips on food at Chaozhou. Our room was upgraded to a bigger one in the main hotel building at no extra cost which came as a pleasant surprise to us They have annexe buildings opposite to cater for more guests
4. Room is big in size, high ceiling and has wiindows. Single beds are comfortable with 2 pillows. Bathroom has good water pressure, antislip stone floor at shower area with laundry line. Toiletries like toothbrush, shower and hair shampoo provided

emilyFirst off, the location is absolutely fantastic – super convenient for getting anywhere, right across from Kaiyuan Temple. It's really in the heart of everything.
The breakfast is a simple affair, but I have to give a special shout-out to the lady making the noodles. My partner and I were sharing a bowl, so she specially added extra ingredients, worried we wouldn't have enough. The mini cakes were also delicious.
The hotel also offers free Chaozhou performances, which was a huge bonus! You can even enjoy some tea. We were originally planning to spend over a hundred yuan to see a show, so getting this for free was amazing. You do have to go to another venue, but it's not far at all, and you can even visit another attraction on the way. The performance included Chaozhou opera, lion dance, and Yingge dance. The young performers were incredible!

Facilities: Excellent and very new.
Cleanliness: Spotless! I even told the cleaning staff it was clean enough, but she clearly has incredibly high standards for herself.
Ambiance: Very pleasant, a quiet oasis tucked away in a bustling neighborhood.
Service: I was quite annoyed with the room key issue. We were staying for consecutive nights, and after a tiring evening exploring the night market, we returned to our room on the sixth floor only to find the key card wasn't working. I sent my child to the front desk to get it reactivated. She came back saying it was fixed, but it still didn't work. I then had to go down *with* my child myself to the front desk to ensure it was properly reactivated before making another trek back up. It was genuinely exhausting.
Suggestion: It's quite inconvenient to have to reactivate the room key at the front desk when extending a stay. Most hotels allow guests to simply continue using their existing key without this extra step. I hope this process can be improved, especially given how busy the elevators already are.

The inn is super conveniently located near Paifang Street, just a short walk to the bustling food street. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very attentive, making for a really reassuring stay. This hotel is my top choice for business trips. The facilities are excellent overall, and the spaces are large and bright. The lobby lounge area is quiet and comfortable, and the book bar and floral tea section really elevate the stay experience. There's even a dedicated play area for kids. Breakfast is consistently good, with delicious Chaoshan-style kway teow soup noodles, and a well-balanced mix of Chinese and Western options. The mahjong room on the third floor is clean, and the laundry room on the fifth floor is practical and convenient. The free parking is a great perk, with plenty of space for easy entry and exit. The staff are warm, responsive, and attentive, making the entire stay smooth and pleasant. Definitely worth five stars! Clean and tidy.
