"I made a temporary arrangement to go there a week before departure. Seeing that this accommodation experience was very different from ordinary hotels, I decided to take a gamble. I am really grateful for my choice! Take the Kono Bus and get off at Shirakawa-go (Ogimachi). Ask the staff at the tourist guide office to call the hotel and someone will drive to pick you up. It is very convenient and safe.
The entire building space is high, the environment is comfortable and there are open window views. The scenery is very beautiful both indoors and outdoors. The service is good and there are few tourists. Bathing in the hot springs, walking in the nearby snow and playing in the snow feel like a private area.
Most of the meals are locally produced and homemade, and the French dinner is very exquisite and delicious😋
Next time I want to come back in autumn and join a hiking group led by a local tour guide!"
"The hotel is excellent. It’s very clean. The bed is comfortable. It serves various snack such as grill tofu in the afternoon and ramen in the mid night. We reserved the beef dinner. It has many courses and it’s so delicious. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk away from the village. Suggest to take hotel shuttle if you don’t want to walk."
"Booked a separate single bed room for men and women. It feels good to live in a room with three women or men who don't know. The homestay is clean, there is heating on snowy days, and it feels not cold. Staff enthusiasm. The surrounding environment is beautiful and it looks better on snowy days. There is a convenience store opposite."

"The hotel is near bus station. Hotel onsen is nice. Dinner is pretty good, but breakfast is mostly pickled vegetables and rice, which is very average. Biggest downside is no private bathroom. The whole hotel, only the biggest room has the private bathroom, other smaller rooms have no private bathroom. I woke up at 4 am and had to go to bathroom on the first floor, which felt pretty creepy. Anyway, if you have kids or old people who need to pee often, I won’t recommend it. And no elevator in hotel either. Good luck carry suitcase upstairs . "
"This hotel has a good location and good service. It provides dinner, rich dinner and good breakfast. It is 10 kilometers away from Shirakawa Township and is suitable for car hire. It's very convenient to drive to all the attractions in 15 minutes"
"A 20-minute drive away from Shirakawa-go, the hotel facilities and services are okay, that is, there is no separate toilet in the room, only public toilets, there is a small hot spring bath, breakfast is very rich, and there is a Gassho in the opposite house."
"Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location."
"The view from the room is very good, there is free coffee in the lobby,
It happened that there was a show scheduled for the evening,
The hot spring outside is accompanied by snow, very beautiful, very comfortable 👍🏻
It would be better if you had hot drinks."
"One parking and two meals, including breakfast and dinner, very traditional Japanese cuisine, barbecue on the first night and Sukiyaki pot on the second night, the hotel also has a natural outdoor hot spring, which can relieve the fatigue of a day of skiing. The Yiliye Ski Resort is great. The hotel is only two minutes away from the ski area, which is very convenient."
