"This is a traditional, large-scale hot spring ryokan. I've been to many hot spring ryokans, and most of them felt deserted with few staff and many foreign guests. However, this ryokan had plenty of staff, and they were very attentive with both greetings and farewells. The baths were spacious, and the changing rooms were cleaned frequently. The unlimited use of bath towels was a fantastic service for us, as we love to soak multiple times. The view from our room, with the calm sea and beautiful sunset, was absolutely stunning. The meal service system was new to us and a bit confusing at first, but it turned out to be very convenient for our family, as we all eat different amounts. Finally, I must mention that we stayed here about 15 years ago when my late father was battling an illness. Being able to come back with my now-grown children and reminisce about those memories was truly special. The ryokan is just as wonderful now as it was then. Thank you for everything. The ryokan is very large and even has a bowling alley, which our children thoroughly enjoyed."

"I stayed here for one night during a trip to Ise-Shima. Since I was traveling by train, I used the free shuttle service to Kintetsu Ugata Station. (I was reluctant to wear slippers directly on my feet, so I wore socks over them throughout the stay.) 2. There was a thin layer of dust on the wall above the bed (the side of the room), so it might be a good idea to wipe the wall down about once a month. [Advice for Future Guests] When using the large public bath, you will need to walk on carpet from the slipper area at the entrance to the changing room. If you are uncomfortable walking barefoot, it may be a good idea to wear socks or bring your own. We checked in on Sunday and checked out on Monday, and the stay for two people, including breakfast, was less than 9,000 yen, which was a great deal. Access is not the best, but I would definitely stay here again at this price range."
