"This time we stayed here on a family trip. Because it was New Year's, the hotel was full and there was no place to park our car, so we parked in the parking lot where the staff also parked. The staff were very helpful. We stayed in a villa, which had a high ceiling, a great view, and was very spacious. One thing that was disappointing was that the breakfast was not very tasty or plentiful considering the price. Unlike a buffet, there was a limit to the number of people, so we had to wait in our room for about 30 minutes in the morning, so if you are in a hurry to leave in the morning, it would be better to give yourself plenty of time to go and eat breakfast. Although the breakfast was disappointing, the other services were very good."

"The room is big in Japan. When we arrived on the first day, it was past 6pm and the hotel car was waiting for us at the station. The hotel environment is very good, especially on sunny days. The hotel SPA is also good. There is a Mikimoto store directly in the hotel. We stayed for two nights, but unfortunately there was no room for the third night."

"It was a wonderful hotel.
Not only the rooms, but also the spa and dining area. I regret that we couldn't explore everything because it was raining.
The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no staff there to wait for the spa return card or to greet other customers who had come to the spa, but even during those times it was a space where we could spend without feeling irritated.
There were no other issues that were of particular concern.
The spa is also by reservation only, so there were not many people and we were able to relax.
Above all, the room was simply wonderful and the breakfast was even more delicious than I expected, with carefully selected ingredients and seasonings that made the most of the ingredients. The view from the dining area was also amazing, and above all, we could hear the birds chirping and enjoy a wonderful breakfast."

"I have two feelings about this stay.
1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival.
2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself."

"I stayed here in February 2025 for a pilgrimage to Ise Shrine.
The red bridge and the landscape can be seen beautifully from the elevator hall on the upper floors of the hotel, making it a great location.
Even though the hotel was renovated, it still had the same lively feel.
The lounge is open all day and doesn't close at certain times, which is nice.
The hot spring had a lot of water and was very comfortable.
Perhaps it was for busy times, but the old-looking tables in front of the restaurant felt different.
As for dinner and breakfast, the number of dishes was smaller than other Mercure hotels, perhaps due to the size of the restaurant, and some of the things I was looking forward to were missing, which was disappointing.
The Matsusaka beef stew for dinner was disappointing, as I wanted to ask when the croissant was baked in the morning, but I gave up after one bite.
It seems that there are many tourist buses, so I felt that the bath depends on the timing.
The hotel is in a tourist area, so it's more of a one-time experience than a repeat visitor."
