The shower had weak water pressure and kept changing from cold to hot. Breakfast was unappetizing, with only juice and water available. The juice had run out and wasn't refilled."

"This homestay was perfect for our needs, clean, spacious, comfortable and close to the entrance to the Stone Forest. We arrived late and notified the host who waited up for us no problem, and he had turned on our AC to warm up the room which was so nice. I forgot to take photos of the room but it was large and had a little tea/reading nook just as described in the listing. We got to see the Stone Forest with almost no other people because we got there so early!"

"Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam."

"The hotel is in a good location and very convenient. The child soiled the bed sheets, and the waiter quickly changed them. The service was good, but the bath towels were too old. The hotel also provided breakfast."

"Except for the night shift lady, whose attitude was relatively good, the overall service attitude was very bad, and the first impression was poor! Then there’s the room. Maybe it’s just that the air conditioner in our room didn’t work. The hot air was turned on at 39 degrees all night and I didn’t feel anything at all. I still felt cold after blowing it all night. Finally, there is the lighting in the room. The main control is broken, so I have to find one by one to turn off the lights. It is too difficult. It is really annoying for those who are impatient! The overall hygiene is pretty good, and the bathroom provides hot water quickly. Hope to improve staff service attitude and skills"

The disposable items used can be said to be better than the Holiday Express Wanfeng Huanpeng Novotel. What surprised me is that the paper towels are all used at this price. The homestay is really much more than expected Hygienic: The room is very clean and the aromatherapy used is also very good. Summary: Excellent value for money can be said to be the best homestay in the whole stone forest. I will come here when I live outside the stone forest in the future."
