"The home stay is very lovely and decorated with many interesting antiques! The people are very kind! When we arrived the room was pretty cold but the personal brought us an oil radiator so that we had an additional heating. The associated restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and many local specialties are served! Absolutely worth to try out!"

"Great location just a short bus ride to the Shilin AAAAA Park. The bus stop is very close to Mijia Inn. On the same street are several places to eat, and around the corner is a shop to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. The room is spacious and very clean, with good air-con... it was very hot when we visited! Downstairs is a cafe with very good coffee and nice ambience. The owner is friendly, and altough she does not speak English, she is patient with my (very poor) Chinese, and she helped us to find the grocery shop, etc. In the room, there are slippers, shampoo, etc, and the hot water pressure is excellent. A very relaxing, quiet, and clean place to stay if you are visiting the rock forest or the nearby caves. It is a good value for the price."

"The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic. When we arrived, we were already waiting at the door. There is a small fruit in each room. It is really intimate. The layout of the homestay is very warm. There is a big tea table as soon as you enter the door. You must try the boss's tea. Very good 👍 You must listen to the boss's recommendation when you come here. , really conscience recommended! I ate the best local specialties for dinner! We drove there by ourselves, this dish is the best one to eat and the price is very close to the people."

"Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam."

"The B&B is very warmly decorated and very clean. It is very close to the Stone Forest Scenic Area and is a 5-10 minute drive away. The boss is a local expert and provided a lot of useful information. Thanks to the boss for coming to explore the Stone Forest under the sunset and giving us a new perspective. This trip to the Stone Forest was really worth the money!"

The room is in good sanitary conditions. The boss has prepared disposable towels. It is very intimate. The children like this room with a garden. You can swing. I came back and lived here.

GGuest UserMy stay was absolutely a delightful experience. The host Chu Da is a kind, sensitive, and gracious person. He made sure that our needs are met. He volunteered to drive us to Shilin scenic area, free of charge. He was always there to help us. That level of hospitality and generosity is very moving. He rendered our relationship more than just a business transaction. He is very sincere and available to help, and yet not intrusive. He is a man of few words, and even came across as a very shy and reserved person. But it was a pleasure to be around him. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is an ideal host. His house is aesthetically pleasing and tasteful and enjoys state-of-the-art facilities. My room felt like a five-star-hotel room with a balcony. The backyard gives the whole house a space of tranquility. Chu Da apparently loves life and living. All the plants and flowers both inside and outside of the house are well cared for. Chu Da has a son who was there too. I find his son a delightful child who resembles his father in both appearance and personality. Their house is centrally located in the Yi Ethnic Village and yet enjoys a very secluded corner that feels very private. With all these amazing qualities, this place is yet so affordable. The level of service that I received made me feel that it’s actually underpriced. Highly recommending this place to you. I would stay there if I were going back, which is very likely given that I had such a wonderful, albeit brief, visit.

Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

The farmhouse Yi people’s special food is very delicious. Just 59 meters away from the inn, there is a national characteristic singing and dancing big three-string performance every night. Fifth, there is a lively and extraordinary bonfire party and carnival night activities. I lived together for ten days. There were beautiful birds and insects during the day.
