Amazing location for those who look for a quiet, well-located and EXTREMELY beautiful place. The personnel is really nice and helpful and there’s a restaurant just behind the hotel! Strongly recommend you to try a plate with tofu! one of the most bright impressions of Shilin. I think I liked the hotel even more than the stone forest itself😂And! national clothes to try on for free in every room (for insta lovers)! 5 out of 5 at my taste!

Conveniently located if one is going to Stone Forest as it is within 30 min drive vs staying at Kunming centre. The hotel is newly renovated in Jun/Jul 2023. Place is clean, modern with lift. Bed is comfortable. WiFi is good. Breakfast adequate but not fantastic. Most important it is really value for money.
The pathway to the rooms smell cigarettes. Fortunately, our rooms are cigarette smell free.

The room was looking at the hot spring view, but for some reason there was no one there, it was just for show. The bathroom was clean, but the wash basin drained slowly and was not smooth enough. The TV in the room was very small and not very pleasant to watch. Overall it was OK.

The hotel is located in the center of the county, but the building is composed of many hotels. If you drive yourself, you have to park in the underground parking lot not far away. From the underground parking lot, you need to find the elevator to the hotel lobby, which is shared by many hotels. The room was very large, with a hall, a mahjong table, and a private bathroom, but it was of little use to us. The internet in the room didn't work, the phone didn't work, and the TV was basically unavailable. Fortunately, the service is okay. In order to make up for it, breakfast was given, which consisted of packed Dicos burgers, fried dough sticks and milk.

This stay was beyond my expectation! The hotel is very big and has a good environment. The garden in the yard is well equipped for leisure. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk staff smiled and checked me in. The service was meticulous and efficient. The room was warm and elegant, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the hygiene was very clean. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, the breakfast was rich, and the rice noodles were especially delicious! It is a 5-minute drive from the scenic spots in Shilin Scenic Area, and it is very convenient to travel. The layout of the homestay is very warm. There is a big tea table as soon as you enter the door. You must try the boss's tea. Very good 👍 You must listen to the boss's recommendation when you come here. , really conscience recommended! I ate the best local specialties for dinner! We drove there by ourselves, this dish is the best one to eat and the price is very close to the people.

The rooms were nice and affordable, the staff even advised us on where to go for the best experience in shilin. We had so much fun, would definitely recommend to a friend. 😄😄

AAnonymous UserThe room facilities are average, but it is clean and tidy. The slippers are good, not the kind of thin disposable ones. There is too little drinking water, one bottle of 350ml. The breakfast is OK. Children above 1.2 need to add 30 yuan.

AAcw2005Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.
