The ac in my reserved room is under repair so I got upgraded for free at checkin to a more spacious room with nice decor. This is a cozy neighborhood with pedestrian-only alleys and free historical exhibits, nice stores, cafes and restaurants. The staff are very helpful and the free breakfast (I picked rice noodle and hot tea) is tasty, and that can be served in your room or taken at the cute cafe. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of the standard hotels that lack character.

It seems that it would be better to live here in autumn and winter; another point is that the wet and dry are not separated, the wash basin is not in the bathroom, but outside, so when washing your face, the water can easily reach the ground of the room, making it feel wet!
