The hotel has a private beach (with a lot of sand and rocks), and there is also a beach on the Left Bank Road a short walk away. There are very few people there, so you can rent the entire beach for yourself. It is very convenient to bring your dog to play on the beach. The hotel itself is on the Left Bank Road, built on a cliff, so you can watch the sunrise directly from your room. The sanitation service is very good. However, it seems many guesthouses on this island have less-than-ideal bathrooms. The host (Jiejie) was incredibly kind. We felt terrible for waking her up at 5 AM this morning when we went to see the sunrise and forgot our room key. She also took us to see the bioluminescent sea the night before last, which was absolutely stunning. The ocean view from the room perfectly matched the photos in the listing. We were also very lucky this trip. The forecast predicted three days of rain before we arrived, but we had sunshine on the first and third days. Our gamble paid off, and we were treated to beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!"
