"After we arrived on the island, the B&B had someone come pick us up, which was very thoughtful service. When we got there, the lovely owner even gave us a free room upgrade. The sea-view room was really nice, and facing the ocean instantly put me in a great mood! In the evening, two young women from the B&B took us 'tear chasing' (looking for bioluminescence), but we weren't lucky enough to see it that night. They diligently took us to several different spots, and we still got to enjoy the night view of the sea, which was a great experience. The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could be improved."

The hotel owner recommended going to the county town for food, which was a great tip; it was both affordable and delicious. Renting an electric scooter from the owner to tour the island was also fantastic."

"The island is not big, but the scenery is beautiful, and the pace of life is slow and comfortable for three days and two nights. It is very convenient to find the boss to book a direct boat, which takes two and a half hours. Priority is given to the upper cabin, where there are fewer people and the seats are more comfortable. The building where you check in has the best view compared to the two buildings at the back! You can enjoy the entire island scenery standing on the terrace. Opposite is the beach, and there is camp 101 downstairs, which is a 2-3 minute walk away. You can sit by the sea and listen to music and drink. It is recommended that all island tours be arranged after 5:00 pm. The sunrise in the morning and evening is also very beautiful."

"Right by the sea, no need to climb stairs, great! The house is simple, although it is a public bathroom, it does not affect the experience. There is a free small beach at the door, Shengshan, and Dawang can all be walked to experience different scenery!"

"The B&B recommended by neighbors in the community is very close to the beach. After checking in, I had a bowl of seafood noodles and then went to the beach at the door to spend the afternoon. The boss and his family are very welcoming. They booked a family room with a good terrace view. The food they ordered for dinner was served directly to them. The food tastes good. You can book any seafood you want in advance. Since you can only book it for one night, you will stay at Shengshan University for the next day. In the hotel, the two meals were from the restaurants I found based on the reviews. To be honest, the taste was not much better. I ate swimming crabs all the time, and the ones I ate at the B&B were big and fat, which shows that the boss is a real person. When I take my baby out, I don’t visit any tourist attractions. I spend two days playing on the beach and getting sunburned. Next time it’s not hot, I’ll visit the tourist attractions again and experience sea fishing by the way."

Are people not allowed to take a bath because the fresh water resources on the island are precious? Just save water for washing bath towels? Wouldn't it be more economical to just not run a B&B?"
