We brought our kids to Gouqi Island for the weekend and stayed at this guesthouse – it was fantastic! The location is super convenient, right by the sea with several free beaches downstairs, perfect for kids. You can enjoy sea views and a sea breeze right from your room. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable to stay in, and the soundproofing facing the sea was excellent. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Before we even arrived, they recommended sightseeing routes and helped us arrange a driver. When we got to the guesthouse, they even helped us with our luggage. We could ask them anything we needed, and the whole trip was completely hassle-free.

The room is spacious and bright, very clean and quiet, with stylish decoration, voice-controlled lighting in the bathroom, disposable towels and bath towels, disposable toilet covers, clean and hygienic, comfortable hot water shower, fast internet speed, and business cards for taxis and sea fishing. If the weather is good, you can see the sunset of the mountains and seas. There is a temple next to it. Walk back downhill along the road, 20 minutes is very easy. Gouqi accommodation is cheaper than Shengshan, and it is more convenient to go to Ganxie Wharf. Dawang takes a bus for 10 minutes. Shengshan Island is more convenient to go to Dongya Cliff and No Man's Village. It takes 10 minutes to get to Shengshan by bus from Dawang. The taxi is very expensive and the starting price is 30 yuan. This is a pleasant trip and the experience is very good! The hostess of the B&B is very enthusiastic. The location is a long hill away from Dawang Business District. The location is pretty good, and the owner of Qunar B&B can also help call a taxi. The room was pretty good and clean. The sea view from the sea view room was beautiful at first glance. We mainly eat meals ordered from B&Bs. The meals we eat are relatively home-cooked, taste good, and the price is reasonable.

Traveling beyond expectations, the time is very fast, staying on Shengshan Island for less than a day, and I was worried about the traffic on the island at the beginning. When the boss said that we could provide chartered service, it really made us less trouble. We drove us everywhere. We played a lot of scenic spots in a small half-day time. We also took us to chase the sunset. We sent us to see the sunrise in the morning. The service was too good. In terms of accommodation, the homestay is right by the sea. Sitting on the edge of the bay window, you can see the sea view. The restaurant is also by the sea and the scenery is not bad. There is also a swimming pool at the homestay. If the weather is hot, you can bring children to play in the water.

The environment is quiet and natural. The ingredients are fresh, all eaten at the homestay, and you need to order in advance. It turns out that my decision is completely correct, the proprietress is delicious and the price is close to the people. It is far more delicious and affordable than the food stalls outside. After dinner, go for a walk on the beach. I went back to the homestay for breakfast the next day, and then I could eat it. It was very rich and full. The last meal I bought seafood for the proprietress to process, like this seafood.

The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of the countryside, so peaceful at night you can hear insects chirping and frogs croaking. The decor is comfortable, and the rooms are quite nice, easily accommodating two adults and two children, with a balcony. I noticed a slight odor in the room, but my family thought it was fine. Opening the balcony door, the air was filled with the pungent smell of fertilizer freshly applied to crops – nauseating! Restaurants nearby are expensive and unappetizing; I recommend renting a car to eat in the county town. The room clearly includes breakfast, but when we inquired in the morning, they said it wasn't prepared and required advance booking – please remember this. Although there was a small sign indicating it, we weren't informed during check-in and ended up spending 90 yuan on takeout. The 20 yuan beach voucher included with the booking was ignored; we didn't ask about it. In conclusion, the service was poor, the experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't go back.

The boat back to Shanghai was canceled, so we had to stay overnight. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the pier, new, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in was quick and efficient. While the staff were not fully familiar with foreign guest registration, they handled it professionally and made an effort to resolve everything smoothly. We booked two rooms, both spacious and well-equipped. Service was responsive, extra towels and slippers arrived almost immediately after we requested them. Breakfast exceeded expectations, mostly Chinese options, with decent coffee. Overall, a very solid choice for a spontaneous overnight stay.
