"Facilities: The guesthouse is professionally managed, much like a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised that disposable bath amenities were even provided. The sea-view rooms offer a truly immersive experience. Breakfast was easily the best we've had across all the island guesthouses, prepared with a professional touch. Cleanliness: The place was spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was remarkably prompt. Environment: Located very close to the main street. The communal area on the first floor has a lovely charming vibe, perfect for reading, enjoying a cup of tea, and gazing at the sea. Service: The host was incredibly patient and thoughtful. They proactively sent us schedules for boat trips and local cultural activities on the island and were always incredibly accommodating with our requests. They even took us to see the bioluminescent sea at night! I highly recommend this guesthouse; it offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be returning."

"We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!"
