After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan. 3. Because we came here in the off-season, the boss upgraded us to the best room. We can see the sunrise from the room early in the morning, which is great. 4. Service: The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering free pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Environment: The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Gouqi Shengshan. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

The homestay is near the pier, five minutes away. You have to take a staircase to go up and down the stairs. The luggage can be transported in an iron box, which is very convenient. I have always wanted to have a chance to visit Shengsi, the easternmost part of the motherland, to see the sunrise and sunset. I chose Wind Villa because it only takes ten minutes to walk to the East Cliff Cliff to watch the sunrise, and it is very close to the No Man's Village and Xiyang Bay to watch the sunset. In addition, you can watch the sunset and the waves of the sea by sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the pure white decoration style, which was full of Instagram style. I felt that I would not feel lonely drinking coffee here for an afternoon. The water curtain flower room here is also very romantic and super suitable for taking pictures. Go home, where shall I go? The affairs of life come and go like a shuttle. Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. The room is small and complete. The off-season is really cost-effective, and there are few people. This time I came out with my friends and it was completely a matter of saying go and leaving, and I didn't do any strategies. Miss sister is super enthusiastic and considerate, patiently answering our various questions, starting from buying tickets, teaching us how to get to the island, thank you very much! I also introduced us to hidden attractions, beautiful to burst. Summary: an unforgettable trip!

This guesthouse is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and incredibly bright, with all the amenities you could need. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and communication was a breeze. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the whole place felt cozy and comfortable. Excellent value for money, a perfect stay, and definitely worth coming back to. A special shout-out to the owner, who was so welcoming and considerate. Right after I booked, they called to offer travel tips, which was a huge help since it was my first time in Shengsi. There are also two adorable dogs in the courtyard. In the evenings, a few of us young people had drinks and chatted about life – I've never felt so relaxed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The location is very good, right on the reef cliff, with a wide view, very suitable for going there alone. The rooms have their own characteristics, but overall they are very clean and tidy. I changed several rooms for some reasons and was very satisfied. The service was very good. I was worried that it would be inconvenient to go to the town, but the hotel took the initiative to ask if I wanted to go to the town. It was very considerate. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!
