I wanted to take a moment to share how much my mom and I enjoyed our recent stay at Sofitel Shanghai. The hotel is brand new, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious and inviting, making it a perfect retreat. What really stood out for us was the exceptional service. A special shout-out to Elwyn and Jerry! They truly went above and beyond for the guests. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Whether they were helping us with recommendations for local spots or ensuring we had everything we needed, they were always there with a smile. It’s rare to find such caring hotel staff, and they really made our experience memorable. Thank you again to Elwyn and Jerry! We can’t wait to return to Sofitel.

We recently stayed at the Sofitel Shanghai Hongqiao for the Chinese New Year holiday, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Booking through Trip.com was seamless, and their chatbot was very helpful for any questions we had. The hotel room was impressively spacious, clean, and filled with natural light from the large window, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We did try the pool, but unfortunately, the kids' pool was closed, which was a bit inconvenient since we were traveling with children. The dining options offered a nice variety of Chinese and Western cuisine, although I noticed that the majority leaned towards Chinese dishes. One of the highlights of our stay was the smooth check-in process. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM and were pleased that they were able to accommodate our request for early check-in. A special mention goes to Max, who was exceptionally accommodating and made us feel welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but we do hope that the kids' pool will be open during our next visit. Thank you for a lovely experience!
