While the hotel is clean and the location is good, I strongly don’t recommend it. I had a bad experience as the air conditioning never worked properly. It was 34°C the whole time. I booked one night but couldn’t spend more than two hours there. I called the receptionist, but she suggested adjusting the temperature to more than 20°C and then after 30 minutes, adjusting it to less than that. It never worked. I don’t think I’ll book this hotel again!

When I checked in, they even recommended Xiao Shanghai Pedestrian Street, saying there were lots of great places to eat there. They were incredibly thoughtful and patient. The room was clean and hygienic. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai.

For a single room, it is appropriate to think of it as a goshiwon room with a private bathroom. The facilities are old, but there are no broken items, and both hot and cold water flow well. Changqing Road subway station is less than 100 meters away, and it is 2 subway stops to the Shanghai International Expo exhibition center without transfers. It is about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the exhibition center, and there are many local restaurants near the subway station. The front desk does not speak any language other than Chinese. (A translator is essential.) It is a very cost-effective accommodation for accommodation for attending the exhibition. However, for tourism purposes, it is lacking in facilities and cleanliness.

Environment: The environment was just okay, not particularly quiet. Being close to the road, it was a bit noisy, but other than that, it was fine. Service: The service attitude was excellent, no complaints there.

The cleaning was not timely. I stayed for two days and the quilt was not folded. No toiletries were provided. Other things were ok. There were no big comments. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from the subway station.
