People's Square Area
Such a well-maintained, wonderfully located hotel. Good service all round . We checked in past midnight after a late flight & was so happy to have a spacious room with all the amenities you need for a great stay. The location is close to People’s Park yet not in the middle of the chaos . Hotel is attached to Agile Plaza & there are plenty of eateries & shopping at your doorstep. Use the exit towards the back of the lobby (next to Geographer) . My favourite Marriott stay & will definitely return.

It was an extraordinary experience I was there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and the staff help with assisting us with nearby activities and events. They all surprised us with an amazing birthday cake.. They recommended a high level spa and provided a diver for us free of charge. Our stay at this hotel was amazing. They assisted me to give my girlfriend the best birthday and we love it
Shanghai Marriott Hotel Yangpu Riverside

The North Bund Area
Recently, I had the honor of staying at the Shanghai Marriott Yangpu Riverside Hotel. This experience was perfect. Whether it was the location, service quality, or facility details, I felt the extraordinaryness of a high-end hotel. The hotel is located in the core area of Yangpu Riverside, adjacent to the Huangpu River, and enjoys a first-line river view. Looking out from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room, the river is sparkling, and the skyline of Lujiazui on the opposite bank and the industrial relics of the old Yangpu complement each other, as if you are in the collision of history and modernity. You can walk to the former site of the Yangshupu Water Plant, Green Hill and other popular check-in spots, and it is even more pleasant to stroll along the riverside trail at night. Although it is located in a bustling area, the surrounding environment of the hotel is quiet, perfectly balancing urban convenience and the privacy of vacation. From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, Marriott's ”hospitality” is impressive. Mercy at the front desk is enthusiastic and proactive, and efficient and professional when checking in. The room service is even more meticulous: weather reminder cards and sleeping tea bags are placed during the turndown service, the minibar has a rich selection of drinks and is replenished daily, and even the way the laundry bags are folded is full of ritual.
Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong South

Kangqiao, Nanhui Area
The facilities are OK, but the surrounding facilities are poor. The overall experience of staying at the My Little Pony Hotel is mixed. The hotel is located in a remote area, the surrounding shopping malls have closed down, the surrounding facilities are scarce, and the shopping and leisure options are limited. However, it is affiliated with Marriott, the facilities are pretty good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and can meet basic accommodation needs. There are ancient towns and zoos around, which add some fun to the trip, but it is a certain distance from Disney, and the transportation is slightly inconvenient. The water temperature of the hotel's swimming pool is low, the adult pool is cold, and the temperature of the children's paddling pool is OK, which is suitable for children to play. In terms of catering, the dinner set meal tastes mediocre, the drunken shrimp is not fresh, and it was not properly handled after feedback, which is surprising. The quality of breakfast is average, and the Benedict eggs are simply made, far from the level at home, which is really unsatisfactory. Overall, the facilities of the My Little Pony Hotel are OK, but the surrounding facilities are insufficient, the dining experience is poor, and the service response needs to be improved. If you have high requirements for the surrounding environment and catering quality, it is recommended to choose carefully.
