The room is too different from the picture posted on Ctrip. If we consider the facilities of the parent-child room, it can be considered a guesthouse at most, and it cannot be called a hotel in the strict sense.

The room was nice, with good air conditioning in both the upstairs and downstairs area. The bathroom was also pretty clean and nice as it had an enclosed showering area to prevent water from splashing around the whole bathroom. The location was pretty decent too as it wasn’t too far of a drive from most of the areas we wanted to visit(such as jinmao skywalk, Shanghai tower, etc). There were also convenient bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a close walking distance. Cleanliness was generally ok, only some areas on the stairs was pretty dusty which is somewhat understandable as it is a hard place to clean. Overall it was a pretty good, budget friendly option for any first time visitors to China, would recommend.

The room is clean and has a bed for each person. I slept on the upper bunk. The stairs are comfortable to go up and down, thanks to the handrails on both sides, which are made of wood. The location is good, Xuhui District, although it is a bit far from the subway, the public transportation is well developed. Very good experience
