It can get a bit cold at times, and the room isn’t soundproof, so you can hear the fireworks and even catch a glimpse of them from the window. Overall, a good stay with a great location!they also offer free transportation to Disneyland if you wake up really early."

"The room was unique and very cute. The hotel provided us with a free ride to and from Disneyland which was very handy. The staff were nice and friendly and approachable. The breakfast was hearty and home-like, which we liked a lot. The problem we had was it was somewhat difficult to get to the hotel itself, as it was pretty far away from any metro or bus station. You have to get a taxi, if you need to get somewhere. There was a street 700 meters away from the hotel which had some restaurants and a local supermarket (which had a pretty good selection, if you want to get local goods). So no convenience store or fast food chains in near 2 kms."

"Though simple, the owner's thoughtful touches are evident. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't filled due to several days of heavy rain. The whole family, from grandparents to grandchildren, was incredibly welcoming. I arrived very late at Pudong Airport, but the grandson (who is also the owner) still came to pick me up – I was deeply touched! Breakfast, prepared by the grandmother, gave it a wonderful homely feel. It's truly ideal for small families visiting Disneyland with children or for young couples looking for a cozy stay."

"The entrance is a little far back, so at first I wondered if I was in the right place, but as I got closer I saw the hotel lit up 🏨✨ They gave me a ride to Disney 🐭🏰🤍 All the staff were very kind 🥰✨ Basically we communicated via WeChat, so it was smooth and there were no language issues! They also provided free breakfast, and we had porridge and bread 🥐☀️ Thank you so much 🐰"

A light, refreshing scent fills both the rooms and common areas, creating a calm and welcoming ambiance throughout the hotel. The guest rooms are thoughtfully arranged, blending comfort and functionality with a high level of maintenance and care. What truly distinguishes this hotel, however, is the exceptional staff. Their warmth and genuine kindness made my stay all the more memorable — some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere. Although the location is slightly less central and can be a bit inconvenient to access, it’s by no means a serious downside. For travelers looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and high-quality stay in Shanghai, this hotel is an outstanding choice."

"The environment is nice, with a private courtyard full of fruit trees and a gazebo. I ordered a roasted whole lamb from the landlord, which was delicious and affordable! Fireworks are allowed, but not too late, as they might disturb the neighbors, which is understandable. The house is kept clean. The decor is a bit older, but well-maintained. There are plenty of entertainment facilities, and overall, it's a great value for the price."

"Daoche Garden Hotel: A Dreamy Garden Retreat by Disneyland – My Review For my recent trip to Disneyland, I chose to stay at the nearby Daoche Garden Hotel, and I must say, it truly enhanced the whole experience! The hotel's architectural style is incredibly distinctive. Its Huizhou-style exterior, combined with meticulously designed landscaping, makes you feel as if you've stepped away from the city's hustle and into a tranquil, pastoral world the moment you arrive. The courtyard is expansive, filled with lush greenery, and features a small swimming pool and relaxation areas. In the evenings, with the ambient lighting, the atmosphere is absolutely enchanting and perfect for photos 📸. The rooms feature a minimalist Nordic design, spacious and bright. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside greenery indoors, offering fantastic natural light ☀️. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathrooms have separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries are of good quality – attention to detail is spot on. Some room types even come with a giant projection screen and a large bathtub. After a tiring day, coming back to the room for a relaxing bath and a movie is pure bliss. What impressed me most was the hotel's complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland. It's just over a 10-minute drive, and they have fixed daily schedules; you just need to book in advance with the front desk – incredibly convenient! The drivers are also very friendly and even shared some useful tips for visiting Disneyland on the way. Although the hotel is located in a village, ordering takeout is incredibly convenient, with a wide variety of cuisines available for delivery. If you want to explore, there are also some small supermarkets and convenience stores nearby where you can buy snacks and daily necessities. Overall, Daoche Garden Hotel offers excellent value for money. Its environment, service, and location are all outstanding, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Disneyland!"

"A friend recommended this to me after staying at Disneyland. It is close to Disneyland, the owner is very friendly and nice, and there is a car to pick you up at Disneyland. The B&B environment is also very good, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is large, and there is a yard outside, which is very beautiful. It is also very quiet and you can have a good sleep. The price is affordable, and it is really good to be able to live so close to Disneyland!"

"I rarely write reviews, but the exceptional service at this place truly compelled me to share my experience. First off, the location is fantastic. It's incredibly close to both Disneyland and Pudong Airport, making our arrivals and departures incredibly convenient. The service truly stands out. I arrived in the very early hours of the morning, and the owner graciously waited up for me until quite late. Any requests we had were immediately addressed. For instance, when it rained, the hostess even went out of her way to help us with umbrellas and our luggage – their attention to detail and helpfulness were superb. The room itself was also very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

It is 9 kilometers away from Disneyland. The surrounding restaurants are not very close, but the takeaway will arrive in about half an hour, and the community is very convenient.
