A lot of the facilities that was said the hotel offered was not correct. Front desk for 2 consecutive days could not speak any English. 8 different people in total. Bar was not open as not staffed. Room service is the mini bar with 2 cans of drink in it. It's not room service as you would expect. I.e. offers a food service. The cafe was not a cafe as we would expect it to be. You cold have a tea or a coffee if you asked at reception and they understood. Nearest food shop was 300 mtrs or 900 mtrs depending on who you could get to understand what you want. In the end I had to get a friend 400 miles away to order me food and have it delivered or starve. The staff were apologetic when an English speaking member of staff was found and I was given a glass of wine and some fruit. Being able to do laundry and it being free was a big positive. In all you book with a big brand name like Mecure because they are international but this is not the case. TV was pay to view films but if you don't have a linked card to pay on one of the Chinese platforms you will not be able to purchase anything to watch. Thankfully only there 2 nights but the description on trip.com needs updating to reflect the issues raised above.

Nice hotel and near to shopping Center lalaport and jinqiao shopping centre . Breakfast is good . About 30 minutes ride to “ the bund “
