The hygiene was quite good, and the lobby decor didn't look old. The downside was that there was construction going on outside the room, which made it a bit noisy during the day. Everything else was fine. Also, don't park on B2 because there's no elevator; you'll have to walk to B1 to catch one.

The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is good. Across the street is Daning Park, where the lotus flowers are currently blooming in the lake. During dinner, you can see the musical fountain downstairs from the Executive Lounge. Hisamitsu Center is great for shopping. It's a perfect place to spend a weekend night.

The room was excellent, and the breakfast spread was superb. The staff provided exceptional service. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I'll definitely stay at Baohua Hotel again, and I'll be recommending it to my friends as well.

I chose the Marriott Marquis City Centre for a one-night stay because I was attending a show nearby. The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful during check-in. They noticed my request on Ctrip for a quiet, high-floor room and immediately asked if I'd mind that my booked Executive Twin room was facing the construction site and might be noisy. They offered to switch me to an Executive King room on the quieter side, which I accepted. They then kindly informed me that the King room was on the 25th floor and required taking one elevator to the 23rd floor, then another to the 25th, asking if I was okay with this slight inconvenience – which I absolutely was. They thoughtfully provided toiletries and escorted us to the elevator, explaining the complimentary executive lounge benefits. Although we didn't have time to enjoy them, I was deeply touched by the front desk staff's meticulous questions and explanations (thumbs up!). The room they gave us was excellent, facing Daning Park (we even enjoyed a fantastic fountain show from Daning Park from our room at night) and very quiet. The breakfast in the morning was also very rich and delicious. Overall, it was a superb stay.

My family had a pleasant experience. The breakfast was amazing. The view from our room exceeded expectations. We had a view of the park which had a fountain show at night.

Just there for the night to be close to the circus. The hotel was very busy even when it’s low season. The swimming pool is quite dated. Everything was pretty average except for the breakfast buffet which had a good variety of food.

The bed sheets and cover were smelling wet, it was not comfortable to sleep with that smell, they must take care of the details

Above my expectations. The service, the kindness and attention from the staff is what impressed me the most. Rooms are ok but a bit cold in terms of decorations. Location is good/bad based on your trip’s purpose, in my case was perfect but in general  the hotel is quite far from the city center.

The hotel is very nice and modern. The room was huge and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The drinks in the lounge are good but pricey. The food at the breakfast buffet was plentiful, but lacking in flavor.
