Jinjiang Metropolo Shanghai Xintiandi Hotel

Very nice hotel, good value for money. Room is exactly as in the promo photos, beautiful decoration, exceptionally clean, most amenities available in the room. Shanghai is doing their best to use less plastic, so it prohibits hotels to mass use disposable toothbrushes and razors. If you need it, you can ask at the reception, but these items are not in the room by default. Staff is polite, friendly and helpful, they will allow you to check in early, if there are clean rooms your type (I arrived about an hour and a half before official check-in time and had no problem getting a room). They also provide free luggage storage. Hotel is located in a quiet residential area, not close to main attractions, so the travelers who came to experience nightlife or see “cool Shanghai” might be disappointed. However, the metro station is literally in a 2-minute walk distance from hotel and it will take you about 10-15 minutes to get to The Bund or Nanjing Road. 5-7 minutes walk from hotel is a large shopping mall with various popular brands and a good food court. There’re also few local restaurants, a starbucks and couple of convenience stores at a walking distance from hotel. Be aware, that the rooms are being cleaned from early morning and if you do not put “do not disturb” sign outside your room door, the cleaning staff start checking on you from about 8 a.m.

It is wonderful place for our family trip. Near metro line pink in 5min walk. Near 7-11. Near many Local Chinese food.Near cafe, starbuk,domino pizza.Free drink water unlimited, and nessesary in bath room. Maid do clean up room everydays.

clean room which I like. I decided to come back after my trip to wuzhen. the staff were nice too. they helped me and communicated well in english
