Maixinge Boutique Hotel (Shanghai Pudong Airport)

The customer service here is just excellent with fast response times and detailed explanations. They offer free shuttle pickup and send off services too! Rooms are clean and tidy with complimentary bottled water. Most recommended for a night's transit.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in China. I only spent one night here, but the room looked nothing like the one I had booked (Business Queen Room). The condition of the room was poor, broken flooring, paint stains, and an unpleasant smell. To make things worse, the walls were covered in cartoon stickers, giving it the feel of a child’s room rather than a business hotel. When I raised my concerns, the staff dismissed them without offering any solution. On top of that, the constant airplane noise made it almost impossible to sleep, with planes landing every few minutes. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, it’s far from the standard you’d expect for the price and description. NB: you can see in the pictures what was booked and what the room actually looked like.

Good place to stay near the airport, they provide free airport shuttle service which is very convenient and suitable to catch a flight the next day. The room is so clean and comfortable to stay, they provide toothbrush, toothpaste and towels. I am not too satisfied about the sound of airplanes flying so often and the room was not sound proof so I can hear people in the corridor walking and talking at night, so I didn't sleep well. Other than that, it is a good place to stay near the airport.

All good really like the airport pickup and drop off service fast and convenient. Room wise all good I got a good night sleep just that the sound from next room might affect abit

The room was good. But a bit far from everything. But they have a shuttle bus to pick up

The hotel is 20 minutes away from the Pudong airport, right off the expressway. Getting a Didi is fairly easy, a lot of instructions on the pick-up points. The hotel and the room in general was not the greatest, but for the price you’re paying it’s okay.
