It was really good for the price. It was clean and I was very satisfied with the washer and dryer in the room. There was detergent, so I did my laundry well. The bed was big, quiet, and the staff was friendly. I plan on staying here next time I come to Shanghai. The subway was in the same building, so it was easy to get around. It took two subway stops to Nanjing East Road, but it was close, so it wasn't hard to get around. There was a McDonald's and a convenience store in the same building, so it was easy to buy things to eat.

It is less than 3 minutes walk from Laoximen subway station. It is especially convenient to get to Hongqiao Airport. However, it is not registered on the Godeok map, and there is an apartment with the same name right next to it, so I waited in the wrong place. When you come out of Exit 1, you have to go past Family Mart, BASE Apartment, and Wagas on the right and go further inside.
The interior design is not bad, but it is not soundproof at all. The sound of dragging a suitcase is terrible.
I recommend it to those who don't care much about noise. It is rare to find accommodations this close to a subway station in this price range.

The location is perfect for those who wish to explore with the metro. The apt is a mere less than 100m from Laoximen station, with lines 10 & and 8, which access to most of the interesting areas of SH. Even better is that Family Mart & McDs is within a stone's throw away. The Laoximen area also has local restaurants that serve good local eats. Xintiandi is also within walking distance for us, about 15-20 mins walk, which is perfect under the chill and breezy weather.
Staff at the apt, especially Eddie and the housekeeping lady, were very kind, patient and helpful. We had an early check-in too, thanks to their kind understanding.
