Beautiful hotel with well designed lobby and rooms. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Jing An. Staff are super professional, very attentive and look after you well. One downside is a fundamental for a hotel, we didn’t get one good nights sleep. The beds are great but the room was too warm, even in early spring when the temperature was still low outside. However, the air con was very loud, even on low setting, so to sleep you either had the noise or it was too hot. One night there was also very loud road construction noise from outside from 3-5am. It’s a city, so this happens but other hotels in Shanghai that we’ve been to before seem to make it their business to know and take proactive measures in like informing and apologizing to guests in advance, putting guests in rooms away from
the noise, or at least providing earplugs.

Every time I stay at Puli, it is a relaxing experience. The hotel is still quiet and elegant, and the atmosphere in the lobby makes people instantly immersed in tranquility. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is comfortable, so I can sleep peacefully every night. Jamie's service is as meticulous as always, and Mia's warm greetings add to the feeling of home.
