The floors were sticky upon entering the room, when my kids spilt some water I mopped it up with a towel which turned black instantly. That night a cockroach appeared inside my room. I spend a LOT of time inside hotels (about 1 in 5 nights) but this is the first time I’ve encountered cockroaches inside the room even though we didn’t eat inside. The staff were very good at coming to the room to try to help - although they don’t speak English they can translate everything in the phone. A handyman came and killed the roach on the spot. They were fine with me changing my 2 night stay to 1 night after the incident. The bed was extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains superb - really dark room. One thing to note is that ******* cannot deliver to the hotel - you will be expected to pay for the taxi fare of the delivery man which will be up to 80rmb per delivery. It is a 15-20 minute direct walk to Disneyland which is very good - everyone else stuck in traffic etc but you get express pass right after the fireworks. No other kids facilities pools or playground so not sure why this has 5 stars.

the best hotel to stay if you are planning to go to Disneyland Shanghai with your family. Only 10 mins walk to Disneyland Shanghai. Price per night including breakfast is also very reasonable. Very helpful hotel crew

Great base for 3 nights while we did 2 days at Disneyland before flying to America. We had the family room and it worked out perfectly for us. Though , oddly, even though we had 3 people and 3 twin Beds in the room, housekeeping only gave us 2 towels each day. Beds are very comfortable . Beware of mosquitos in the garden level, though. We had many bites from mosquitoes who attacked us while we were sleeping. Also the shuttle to Disneyland drops you off just at the end of the road from Melia, so it's still probably a 10 minute walk from there to the entrance gates. But still a very convenient place to stay while doing Disney. The staff in the restaurant was very accommodating when we ordered a late dinner and some cold white wine after a long day at the park. Logging into WiFi is a challenge without a Chinese phone number, we discovered. The staff tried to help us but weren't successful. Overall we'd recommend staying here for comfort and ease while doing Disneyland. Only 20 minutes to Pudong airport

It is a beautiful stay and scene for our family trip ❤️ walking distance to disneyland entrance, Free shuttle provided till junction, and it takes 10 to 15 mins walking to Disneyland entrance.

It is close to disney and there's a golfcart (complimentary) service offer from hotel to the entrance- as it's a bit of a walk. It takes around 10-15 mins walk to shanghai disneyland

Surrounding is very nice. Room is very spacious. Staff are very friendly & helpful. 10mins walk to Disney town from hotel main entrance. Definitely coming back again! Highly recommend

Good services, delicious food, good scenery, very clean room. It's very near Disneyland, you can walk from disneyland to the hotel.
