CitiGO Hotel Lujiazui Shanghai

The location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay except the room was small and the toilet seat was a little dirty. We had to sanitize ourselves.

Nice hotel. Good decoration. Recommendable for young travellers.

My CitiGO Lujiazui Review - ✅ Unbeatable Location: Just steps from Lujiazui metro (Line 2/14), the Bund, and skyscrapers like Shanghai Tower. Exploring was effortless! ✅ Tech-Savvy Rooms: Loved the smart controls, monsoon shower, and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Compact but cleverly designed. ✅ 24/7 Social Vibe: The lobby café/bar buzzed day and night – great for solo travelers. Free midnight wontons were a delicious surprise! ✅ Staff & Service: Reception was upbeat and efficient. Extended breakfast (until 12 PM!) saved my lazy mornings. Watch Outs: ❌ Room sizes are cozy (fine for 1-2 people, tight for big luggage). ❌ Light sleepers: Request a higher floor – street noise can drift in.

The Staff was great, friendly and very helpful.  the location was about 15 minute walking distance to the Shanghai Tower, the Pearl Tower and IFC shopping center.  I love that the hotel had a grocery store, a few restaurants, coffee place and even a laundry mat right under the hotel building.  I would totally stay again.

I have followed the review by some of your guests, to explain location. It was absolutely wrong, written Lujiazui!!! This totally incorrect, correct one is Shangcheng Road, which is really about 7mim distance. Hotel itself is OK, acceptable for this level. Extremely helpful is hotel front desk. Breakfast is Chinese, buffet, OK for me. If you consider room with window, it might be a kind of the window which is in the real fact in the shaft inside the hotel, so not a real window to street. If you decide room without window, it will be the same as this "shaft" window, but assume lower cost. But as usual in China, maintenance of the facilities is poor. It is like say Cabuduo. It has nothing to do with cleanless, which is OK, but real care of things like broken parts. In the shower ceiling has broken gypsumboard, doors do not close perfectly, toilet paper holder is rusty, some of the USB outlets does not work at all. But I am perfectionist so please consider this.

Overall is good and acceptable for such price. Air con is so cold but nice. Bed is comfy.
