Environment: The hotel room came with a fridge, which was super convenient for storing items and one less thing to worry about. Facilities: The in-room hairdryer was surprisingly good and effective for styling hair. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent; the pristine lobby immediately set a high standard, and the rooms certainly lived up to it. Service: The service was truly outstanding. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and meticulous, and the check-in process was handled with great efficiency.

First and foremost, the room was impeccably clean and offered excellent privacy, making for a truly fantastic stay! The facilities are modern, and hygiene standards were top-notch. The price was very reasonable, and the surrounding area is well-equipped with all necessary amenities, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The self-service freshly ground coffee (two servings) and wellness herbal tea were a nice bonus.

The room was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. We stayed for two days. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the housekeeping service was thorough and satisfactory. The overall environment was very pleasant and wonderful. The service was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and friendly; a special shout-out to Xinxin, who was particularly outstanding! The self-service freshly ground coffee (two servings) and the health-preserving herbal tea were excellent and very tasty.

📍 the location is convenient, you can easily take several routes, and it is within walking distance of the metro line 9 and a bus stop. There are also several restaurants and stores in the area. What is not so good is that right in front of the hotel cabs cannot stop and you have to walk a little bit. 👥 staff at the reception desk do not speak English, plus they are attending to several people at the same time and they get a bit complicated. 🛏️ the room although it is close to an avenue, you can't hear the noise of cars, but you can hear the other guests! The edge of the bed mattress is very hard, so avoid sitting or lying on the edge of the bed, as it is quite uncomfortable. The room smelled a lot of cigarettes, the floor felt sticky (even though it had just been cleaned). The corridors of the hotel have carpeting, but it is already very dirty and looks very bad

Very close to the metro station and a big mall with great restaurants. Very convenient to get to the Bund via metro. The rooms were a good size, only complaint are the pillows + bed. Bed was a bit hard and only 2 pillows for 2 people. One pillow was super thin so would’ve appreciated more pillows.

Hotel location is very good train and bus are all walking distance. Room was relatively clean as well. Hotel front desk lady 玉玉 was very friendly and nice offered as water and packing bags. Would recommend this hotel

Clean but a bit old and ugly for western standards. I would say it’s acceptable and functional. The staff is super nice.

Good location, comfy bed and helpful staff. They even assisted with laundry service, which was a bonus for us after traveling for a week. Overall a great stay.

The staff are so nice and helpful and polite. It’s close to all the main places in Shanghai and it’s like 6min walk away from Tianzifang. I loved it, I’ll book again if I come to shanghai.

Great hotel in a nice location in Shanghai. Large mall and metro station across the road, and restaurants and convenience stores in the same building. Free laundry service. Xingxing and the rest of the staff were very helpful despite the language barrier.

Tianzifang is just opposite the hotel. There is a shopping mall and metro station opposite the hotel too. There is no breakfast provided but you can enjoy some local food nearby. The room is a bit small than expected and not suitable for families with big size luggage. Cleanliness is average. Bath towel has stain and the room has a kind of smell. The hotel room sound proof is not good. It depends what type of travellers you are and can bear with it.

Very quiet room. A bit small, but comfortable and enough to sleep for the night. Good air conditioning and wifi.

Be careful of choosing the room, especially if you need mobile access. Wifi access is not as good as others.
