Elong Me Anlai Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Zhongshan West Road)

They called before check-in to confirm my arrival time. I arrived quite late in the evening and appreciated the room upgrade, especially since I had requested a quiet room beforehand. However, I was woken up very early the next morning due to truly terrible soundproofing. This was particularly frustrating as I had checked in so late and desperately needed my rest. Furthermore, even after booking a day-use room extension and confirming it the previous evening, I still received an unnecessary call in the afternoon. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but the extremely poor soundproofing prevented me from getting any proper rest.

Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is quite convenient, not far from the subway station, with many dining and shopping options nearby, making it easy to get around and handle daily needs. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed and odor-free. Both the cooling and heating of the AC worked quickly, and the soundproofing was decent; I hardly heard any outside noise at night. The bathroom was thoroughly cleaned, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient during both check-in and check-out, always ready to assist and answer questions. There are numerous restaurants nearby, offering a wide selection, which was very convenient. The value for money was excellent. I was very satisfied with the room quality for the price and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the area.

This hotel offers great value for money. Everyone seemed very dedicated and professional, especially the front desk staff who helped upgrade my room and even made two complimentary coffees for me upon checkout, which really got my day off to a great start! The room amenities were also quite modern. The only minor downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi connection; the login page repeatedly failed to load. I'm not sure if it was due to my phone's signal. Overall, it was a great stay, and I highly recommend it!

The room was spotless, and the hot and cold water supply was excellent. The cleaning staff were diligent and always responsive when called. The front desk was incredibly prompt, answering calls in under 5 seconds – truly impressive! Free parking was a bonus, and I even received a complimentary room upgrade. I highly recommend this place; the service has truly improved. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, providing wonderful care.
