A hip hotel that’s have had over 7 years of operating history. It’s near the Yu Garden, and it’s a nice hideaway if you’d appreciate a small air b and b style hotel. The breakfast was minimal and you’d not expect a lot of options or fine ingredients.
A friendly team in general.
Rooms and bath room facilities were dated after 7-8 years.

It was our first visit to Shanghai, and it was truly impressive!
To be honest, the hotel needs some renovation, but that's not a big deal. This small hotel is very cozy, stylish, and inspiring. It looks quite unexpected in its area. The room is comfortable and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful—a crucial factor for a foreigner in an unknown country. And this is a really rare option — the hotel is pet-friendly, and moreover one of the staff members is a cat!
We really want to come back next time.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel with my dog. The room is well decorated and the staffs are supportive. They also don’t charge pet extra fee which we’re really appreciated!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, and the environment is very pleasant. Most importantly, the service was outstanding—staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. When my WeChat was restricted on the second day, they helped me search for solutions and even made calls for me. They also kindly stored my big luggage for four days while I travelled to Suzhou.
At night, they offered warm bean soup, which was a lovely touch. And there's a super friendly welcome cat that made me feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend!
This is a very cozy hotel at a great value. The staff are friendly and helpful, making your stay feel like home. The room was clean and hygienic, and the hotel even provided complimentary desserts in the evening, which was a nice touch. Taxis are easily available, and the hotel is conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk from Yu Garden and City God Temple. I like thier breakfast 😘

I love the design of this hotel. It feels very warm cozy. Something that’s relaxing and chill in a big busy city. Once you walk in you will see a very urban chill like garden and small pond. The staffs was very warm and welcoming and provided us with some drinks and fresh cut fruits to our hotel room. At night while walking in one of the staffs asked if we would like some complimentary red bean soup dessert. Overall I’m very satisfied and will definitely come back to this hotel for my next trip!

Hotel is nestled in a row of old houses, a contrast to the nearby sky scrapers in shanghai. Walking distance to the city god temple and Yu garden, also to the Bund. the counter staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, nicely layout and has a nice japanese style of fully automatic toilet. However, the stains on the wall and the black stained groves in the bathroom is a little off putting, though the location and price more than compensate for the flaws.
